Re: Heated tubing? Heated humidifier?
Please, explain about that 'rainout' How,where and when does it occurs in this processing of using a heated vs non heated tubing?
You want to find a good compromise between comfort (temperature and humidity) without rainout.

Pugsy, thank you for feedbacks. That makes sense really. And the volume of water filled in the water chamber is the same for both units. Correct?

Re: Need Help Finding Resmed S9 Replacement
Just out of curiosity, what did you had in mind when you stated here in part, "Word of warning...avoid the AirStart models." Were that a typo when you mentioned 'AirStart'? Do we really have airstart models currently in active service? I bet, you probably were meaning to say AirSense but just is uns...

Re: Long-term cancer, etc. risks of CPAP?
The worry of getting cancer may be way to far and unreasonable. Think about it. Since being born, have you not been brushing your teeth with a plastic brush? Cannot we say that direct contact might have exposed you to some kind of BPA to your body? Not sure but just asking.

Re: Sleep Apnea and Alcoholic beverage Consumptions
Five years onward, I continue drinking but in moderation. No issue. Sometimes, will get good sleep with or without two battles of beer. Often tend to limit that to about three bottles. That is all I can share. What's your experiences or updates since the start of this OP?
