Thanks once again Pugsy. Now I have found it, I don't know why I couldn't find it in the first place.

Re: Is the SD card always reading the CPAP machine?
Is there a way I can set the machine to it's original state so that it doesn't hold the last users data? Yep, easy to do. There's a choice in the clinical menu to do just that. Under configuration menu...Erase data. That will erase any and all past user data. The other choice for "restore defaults"...

Re: How many AHI's are acceptable?
How many AHI's are acceptable? Measured how? In whose body? How many micro events are also present? AHI measures one kind of event. There are many. In general they like to see under 5 per hour. In fact it is on indicator amongst many that indicate how CPAP is working or not. Measured after a night ...

Re: Is the SD card always reading the CPAP machine?
I live on a remote island with a population of about 1600 people and there is no clinician. We have approximately 25 people in our support group which has only recently been formed. I raised the money through a community fund raiser, to provide our support group with a emergency ResMed S9 AutoSet CP...

Re: Is the SD card always reading the CPAP machine?
Thank you. That answers my question. So if I take out the SD card and put it in a new machine, will the data off the old machine be kept on the SD card? I need to transfer the SD card to another CPAP the same model.

Is the SD card always reading the CPAP machine?
I am just wondering whether the SD card has to be set to take the data from a machine or whether if it is in place the card automatically collects the data?

Is there a mouthguard that stops leaks?
Just wondering whether there is a mouthguard which keep the teeth together therefore limiting the ability to breath through the mouth?

Re: head cold and stuffy nose
I have always had a problem with congestion as soon as I lie down. When I first started CPAP I couldn't breath with the machine set to start a a setting of 4. I have since put the starting level to 7 an this pushes through the congestion and allows me to breath as soon as I lie down. Perhaps you cou...

Re: anyone had successful turbinate reduction surgery
I haven't had the surgery. I believe I probably need it but if I have the CPAP on 7cm of pressure immediately I start using it, I can breath. As soon as I lie down, my nose blocks, so starting the CPAP ramp on 4 or anything less than 7 doesn't push through the blockage. Starting the ramp on 7 does t...

Re: Need moisture but not heat
I had terrible trouble coping with the heat and hot flashes. Having to cover my face with a CPAP mask made it worse but I have turned to "SleepWeavers Elan" cloth mask and it has changed everything. The mask is so pleasant and cool to wear after those horrible silicone/plastic masks which retain hea...

Re: CPAP tube brush?
Hi, I use the 19mm brush advertised on the CPAP.com site also. It fits through the climate line on the ResMed S9 machine. The new hose brush is made of stainless steel which is a better material but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a user friendly hose brush suitable for CPAP hoses. Obviously ...

Re: Moisture in Mask
I had the same problem when I started using CPAP. It was so bad I had to resort to a fabric mask and that solved the problem. Elan by SleepWeaver is the mask I use.

Re: Is cleaning an issue?
Maybe you should not be using the humidifier? Many people find it unnecessary. I do need the humidifier but because I have studied microbiology, I know the ramifications of taking a careless attitude and thought it a good thing to share. Those who value the message can take the steps seriously and ...
