Re: My Sleep Study Report + 14 Days on the Hose!

I actually don't see a count on the report. From my pre-CPAP and post-CPAP SpO2 monitoring, a typical night before CPAP would have more than 200 desaturation events. Afterwards, maybe 1 or 2, but no drops below about 94%. I've got some graphs I might upload with that info. I'd love to see them. The...

Re: My Sleep Study Report + 14 Days on the Hose!

As my previous notes on this forum indicated( http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=80623&p=733707#p733707 ) , I had a sleep study about two weeks ago. It was a split study. Re: Breathing

When I first get settled in bed with my mask on, I do a lot of sighing and sometimes feel I'm not getting enough air. If I turn over to my side the situation gets better. Re: Especially for newly diagnosed - Dealing with Change

In response to the discussion in the thread about an unsupportive spouse I felt prompted to revise a write up I have concerning dealing with change. We encounter changes of all sorts through life, including the one when we received the diagnosis of sleep apnea. How we respond is almost always the s...

Re: Especially for newly diagnosed - Dealing with Change

Thank you for the paper on accepting change. Yap, I was upset that I had to go on CPAP. My husband had UPPP back in 1997. It didn't work and it made his apnea worse from moderatly severe to severe. I saw what he had to go through... But I also saw how it helped him. Before I even went in for my sec...
