Your machine is also pretty "wide open", meaning - you can be breathing at a very low pressure (EPAP = 4cm) and in with that much, or it can go all the way up to 19. You can disable the ramp if you don't want it. It's purely a comfort feature.

hypopneas are like apneas, but you have less obstruction. They can be just as disruptive to sleep, however.

If you're feeling great and the AHI is below 5, I would say don't worry about it.

The most comfortable mask is the one that fits your face. Try as many as you can, and don't worry about what anybody "says" about them being comfortable or not.

It took me 3 months just to fall asleep with cpap on, another 6 months to sleep the whole night.

Every step is a victory, if a small one. Don't discount it!

Is your machine in CPAP (continuous) or APAP (auto-adjusting) mode?

I wouldn't sweat a bad night, though if your AHI remains above 3 you may want to fiddle a bit. Adjusting things slowly and with a plan is a good idea!
