vpap air curve cover?
Living in Colorado, I have to have a humidifier. If the vpap and humidifier or on the same side table, can I put a cover over the vpap machine ? Not sure if the moisture from the humidifier would damage or compromise the vpap machine?

Re: Mouth Leaks
I have totally forgotten how to get my Sleepy chart on here via MAC. Meanwhile, I am doing ok. I am getting below 4 ahi numbers . Last night it was 1.48. But I am leaking again. The N20 seems to be the perfect one for me but of course there is the mouth. I do use tape. I seem to do ok till about 5-6...

Re: need travel cpap in a week
What happened to the old AutoSet that you had when they gave you the S9 VPAP? You still using PS of 3? You could probably get by with another AutoSet and use EPR at 3. You can of course just take your existing machine. My machine is close to 5 years old and I got rid of the orig cpap before I thoug...

need travel cpap in a week
so I have a trip coming up and for whatever reason (I have several), I did not decide on what machine and where and how fast I can get it.(yet) I could print out online offer, go into local physical DME and see if they will match it. Flexibility is not something I have seen a lot in local DME's. Or ...

Re: Needs Tricks with FFM (F 20 Airtouch Foam)
This isn't specific for the F 20 Airtouch Foam, but a more general suggestion you might want to try if you have different masks. I had a second sleep study Friday night, this time for a possible bi-level machine. I can't use a nasal mask because of my chin dropping and inability to tolerate a chin ...

Needs Tricks with FFM (F 20 Airtouch Foam)
My ffm always leak at the base of my cheek near the edge of my lip. All of them. So while this mask also does it, it seems blocking it against pillows minimizes the noise if not the leak(? dont know) Do any of you fine people have tricks for keeping that one area planted? I do toss and turn(hip owie...

Re: Settings Per Mask Type.
The type of mask setting aid the machine in calculating the vent rates. The machine will subtract the vent rates and not count it as a leak. Sheriff Ok. So I am learning. I tried the ffm last night and it was worse. And yet while resitting the mask never worked, smooshing on pillows did seem to... ...

Settings Per Mask Type.
So, been doing very well for 4 months. Got my numbers to 3 or below which I am ok with. Generally nasal is my choice but I still deal with extreme dry mouth. I can live with it but still trying other scenarios . Last night I tried the F20 full face cushy mask. I was surprised to find that I made it ...

Re: Dumb Question. Can you swallow or choke on a mouth guard
Yes, I am trying to solve the dry mouth. I have tried all kinds of things. Even taped, my mouth gets bone dry. I find, as I get older, I am getting pretty good at choking on my own spit. I figured if I can do that, I can have a party with a boil and bite. Sigh.

Re: Dumb Question. Can you swallow or choke on a mouth guard
thank you. I have been giving my boil and bite the stink eye thinking if it could be swallowed, I would probably do it. I really do well with the N20 mask but lately I have started the night well and around 4 I get the beeps from an open mouth. It seems when I go into the dreaming level. I'll keep t...

Travel machines
Thinking of getting a travel machine. Any strong feelings about one vs others? I was thinking one of the dreamstations? But looking for personal experience. Thanks.
