May I ask where you found this?mcguirejohnr wrote: ↑Wed Oct 17, 2018 12:00 pmHas anyone successfully used an adapter for the AirMini so that you can utilize standard tubing? I found this one...expensive for a little piece of plastic but only having one set of tubing and easy access to multiple masks would be nice.

Going forward, all CPAPs must be removed and sent through the scanner in a bin.

Re: anyone else wearing earplugs every night?
This was the problem with the Z1 Auto for me. Even with earplugs, a ton of air noise was being conducted through my facial bones by my mask (Swift FX), which doesn't have this problem when connected to my home machine. So back it went.

Re: ResMed Air Mini - Initial Impressions
I *think* CPAPSupplyUSA.com has a 30-day money back guarantee. Doesn't look like it: CPAP SUPPLY USA will accept returns on any unopened product within 10 days of the original purchase date. A 15% restocking fee will be subtracted from the original cost and a credit in the form of Loyalty Points wi...

New travel size machine- Resmed Air-Mini- coming soon
And they want another $119 for the mask??? And don't even include the case??? That's a $999 initial outlay!! VERY disappointed with that price point, VERY disappointed in their decision to lock users into proprietary hoses and masks. Someone needs to come up with an adapter to mate a standard hose t...

Re: I saw the Air Mini this week and it looks amazing!
I have noticed on the video that the hose seems to be some electrical connection. Maybe it's checking which masks are attached to it, via a chip or something similar... . That would not surprise me, same tactic as has been done with Keurig cups and inkjet cartridges for printers. Pretty shady if tr...

For those unaware: some very serious, very capable ransomware was being strewn about the interweb last week, we should all appreciate that our hosts took measures to nip it in the bud here.

The connector IS nonstandard, though in the age of 3D printing, I'm sure someone will come out with an adapter to use normal hoses.Holden4th wrote: The only way is to have a non standard connector that will only take their masks. If that's not the case you can use any mask you like I suppose.

Re: I saw the Air Mini this week and it looks amazing!
I note no rubber feet on the machine to keep it from sliding off one's nightstand. I was thinking the same, but there is an optional additional accessory called the "airmini mount system" which actually looks quite good. Allows you to have it hang off the side of the bed, off the side or a drawer, ...

Tegaderm dressings would be good for this too, adhesive side attached to the mask.

Unlike firearms, there is no law prohibiting "strawman" purchases of CPAP machines. Just saying.

Re: ResMed AirMini Update
Anyone heard whether the AirMini will be a CPAP or APAP? $899 is a steep asking price for a non-auto unit. (And I hope street prices will be a fair bit lower!)

Re: CPAP for road warriors? HDM Z1?
Just spent my first week on the road with the Z1 Auto on a trip to Europe. LOVE the small size/weight, can't stand the noise, even wearing earplugs . Compliance reporting software is completely inadequate. I had high hopes for this unit, dashed by the air noise. Sending it back. Hoping ResMed's rece...
