Re: AirSense 10 question

Let's see. I have used vinegar and wateras mentioned. I used an old (but never used) artist flat brush. I have used scrungie sponge. I used paper towels. There is always a bit of gunk in the corners. Seems to be a design flaw. My A9 never had this problem. I am on my 3rd water tank after 12 months. ...

Re: Turn up lower pressure setting on APAP?

after a few days with the min pressure bumped, you might want to tighten up the high pressure to about 13.6. That is your current 95 percentile pressure.

well DayUm .... who knew

Hi everyone. I've been a CPAPer since 2012. Had a s9 AutoSet with over 21000 hours on it. I went to Premier HME (fired CRAPia). AWESOME experience! The respiratory tech had my equipment (AirSense 10 AutoSet) set up before my appointment. Had a Swift FX, AirFit P10, P30 and a DreamWeaver ready for me...

quick question

I have an appointment with a new DME in a few hours to get my new machine. I told her I wanted a machine that records full efficacy metrics (my old machine was/is a S9 AutoSet. Is the AirSense 10 compatible? What about the AirStart 10 Auto.

Thanks for your quick replies,.

Re: OMG Just shoot me....

well that was fast... I spoke with a new DME (Premier Home Medical Equipment) and gave them my sleep study (from 2012) and the three sets of my ResMed and SleepyHead Reports for the past 1.5 years that I've collected them from my doctor. He FAXed my script to them and I got a call last evening from ...

Re: DMV - Driver's License - Sleep Apnea status

my .02 I would have answered 'No' As someone said, my Apnea is under control. The other part of my answer is that I do not see a "Sleep" doctor. I see a board certified physician, who happens to be my primary doctor. I see him yearly and we always talk about my therapy. He knows that I have tweeked ...

Re: Chin strap advice please

I had success with the Ruby Red (https://www.cpap.com/productpage/ruby-s ... strap.html)
It took about three months to train my brain to keep my mouth shut when sleeping. Now if there was a way to train it while I am awake ;-)

Re: First Timer here....

Hi Scriffiea, Welcome to the group. Your experiences so far seem to be fantastic! Keep going as you are, it seems to be working. As for some of your questions (and all my answers are from me and your mileage may vary). I put my hose on top of my blankets. I find that now (after a few years on CPAP) ...

velco replacement for my Swift FX

Hi everyone. Been a while since I was on. I am just wondering if anyone knows where I could get just the velco replacement for my Swift FX. The rest of the mask is fine, the velcro just won't stick anymore. I've sewed my other straps and will do this one too if there is not a third party supplier of...

Re: I went to my new ENT/Sleep doctor

Sorry it took so long to reply. I hate when life gets in the way of fun. To start, I have two machines. I have an S9 brick as a travel machine. I was concerned that the insurance company changed the rules..(concerned not surprised). I was also surprised that they would only replace the machine if br...

I went to my new ENT/Sleep doctor

Hi everyone, Thanks for all the help last week when I pulled the charts to give to my new ENT/Sleep doc. I gave him the summary and compliance reports from both rescan and sleepyhead. He actually took the time to look at both and asked questions about SH. I also gave him a couple of daily detailed r...
