Re: day 1 on the box
Hi All, I posted last nights sleepyhead graphs, eliminating the AHI and Mask Pressure graphs. The numbers are still in the range that I want to see (I think) and the clock is still incorrect. I will set it in a few minutes. Thanks Pugsy for the instructions. Over the weekend I experimented with my f...

Re: day 1 on the box
let's try this again Hi All, I had my first night on the "box" and have to admit it went pretty smoothly. I got to bed a bit late (thank you Phillies for waiting until the 9th inning to go ahead!) and was more than ready to go to sleep. Unfortunately, I woke a bit before 5. Still ok though. I have i...

Is there something special I need to do to paste a screen
I am trying to paste a screen shot of my SleepyHead output. The help text says I can upload a file and link to it, but I see no place to upload a file. What am I missing?

Re: Exchanging machines at DME+ Changing DME!!
Hang in there. I just got my s9 Autoset from Apria. To make things go smooth, gt your doctor to prescribe *exactly* what you want. One thing that the autoset will need on the script is the ramp pressure as well as the max. Without it, Apria will not honor the script (LFMF).

Re: Plug in wall vs. surge protection
My DME no more than three hours ago told me "Don't use an extension cord, but power strips with a surge protector is ok"

OMG I am a hoser!
It took a while and a couple more calls to my ENT but I succeeded in getting what I wanted (almost) from Apria. As my tag line shows, I am the proud owner of a S9 Autoset and a Swift FX mask (aloha not carried). Tonight is day one of the rest of my life. Hopefully soon I will begin to feel human aga...

It's all happenning...today is the day!
I have an appointment with Apria today at noon. When I spoke with the rep on Monday, she told me the only machine they would give me was the resperonics (not sure what model, is there one that is below base model ) The one feature I know the machine has is the "call home and rat out the user" featur...

Re: I am getting ready to do battle with Apria
OMG GTOJim --- Please say you don't live near Wilmington Del ... because that's the Apria I have to deal with. and YES, I HAVE DEALT WITH CAR SALESMEN THAT WERE NICER. sorry to shout. I fully expect to be treated like an insolent child and that is ok as long as I get what I want (and deserve). While...

Re: Hi Everyone! New Hosehead Here!
Hi Gilders,
You must have an extraordinary doctor or you're a member of congress to get that kind of service.
Welcome to the club. I will make it in one of these days when the red tape parts and my therapy can begin!

I am getting ready to do battle with Apria
I want to go into my first meeting with my DME (Apria) armed and ready. I would like your input and guidance. Their web page only shows a small number of machines and masks. I think I would like an S9 Auto (they have an S9 VPAP ADAPT) is it the same? There is no mention to the Aloha Nasal Mask. Is t...
