Sleepyhead 95% large leak rate; acceptable level.

On the Sleepyhead readout, I'm curious to know what generally is considered to be an acceptable percentage level spent in 95% large leak territory. Thanks for any information provided.

Mouth guard and CPAP usage.

I’d be interested in knowing of possible solutions for a person who can benefit from using a mouth guard at night, on the recommendation of their dentist, for grinding and clenching, while also benefiting from the use of a CPAP machine. The priority piece of medical equipment is the CPAP, although I...

Veterans Administration email sent 09/26/22 RE: Phillips mask recall, FYI.

Dear Veteran: Your safety is our top priority. VA has learned of the recall on some Philips Respironics Masks with magnetic closures for use with Positive Airway Pressure devices (CPAP or Bilevel PAP). If you do not use a Philips Respironics mask with magnetic closures, it is not part of the recall,...

Disposing of never used masks/headgear. Where?

I have some never used masks and headgear that I need to dispose of and the Goodwill is likely not the best place to drop it off at. Any suggestions?

CPAP machines used by hospitals for in-patient procedures.

In this COVID era, many hospitals won’t allow patients to use their own machine. What is an AirCurve10 equivalent in a hospital setting?

Excellent! Thank you. 2320 here. Also, it states on the machine that it was made in Singapore.

Manufacture date of a CPAP machine?

Is there a way to learn what the manufacture date of a CPAP machine is from all of the numbers printed on the machine? For some reason, ResMed won't provide me with that information and directed me to make the inquiry with the distributor. Thanks.

Re: Air Curve 10; Medistrom portable battery. Getting a longer life from the battery.

Thank you for the replies. I'll check now with the manufacturer of the portable battery. Even though the charging indicator on the battery showed four bars, which means it was fully charged, perhaps it was giving a false reading.

Air Curve 10; Medistrom portable battery. Getting a longer life from the battery.

During the winter, the power goes out several times each year where I live. Even one night without using a CPAP can make for a grumpy and less than productive next day. I'm using a Medistrom Pilot-24 Plus portable battery with my Air Curve 10. In order to ensure the battery is going to work for a fu...

In the market for a new CPAP machine.

It's been five (5) years since I last purchased a CPAP machine and am in the market for a new machine. It seems to me the biggest development and difference in the machines today versus 5 years ago is the ability to transmit data wirelessly to my sleep doc and his/her ability to make adjustments to ...
