Re: $30,000 for outpatient procedure!!!! UNBELIEVABLE

If you owned a business like a hopital and were forced to give away your products to those who needed them but couldn't afford them and to sell or provide services to others at below cost...where would you make up that money to stay in business? Keep in mind you can't always cut staffing or their sa...

Re: Dreams and CPAP

My dreams on CPAP are pretty awsome actually. Pre-cpap...just dreams of suffocating, drowning, etc because I was.

Re: Blue Cross denying all sleep disorders

From reading all the replies there are defiantly some very different BCBS plans out there. Mine is through BCBS of South Carolina through the company I work for. I'm paying $18 a month for a new S9 auto set and humidifier and after 13 months I own it. They are also covering 80% of the supplies I nee...

Re: What Is The Effect of Sleep Apnea On Your Job?

It's not like that for everybody. I had no problem staying awake, performing, etc. And I work in an environment where, if you aren't on top of things, you lose credibility. My secretary was the only one who noticed, and she just said one day, "You look like you've just come back from vacation. What...

Re: OT: Asked if I had a gun in my home during physical.

It's just part of the liberal anti gun agenda. Why not ask about chain saws, knives, machetes, baseball bats, flame throwers, alcohol or any other items people use to kill themselves and other people? Why? Because that's not on their agenda. Our country has turned into a political nightmare. Right i...

Re: Pillow for your head

I'v been using one for 8 months. It's the CPAP pillow made of firm memory foam and has the scooped out cut out's on each side. I'm also a side sleeper/mouth breather using a Mirage Quatro mask. The CPAP pillow works great for me and I'm a finicky pillow user. I've never used the same pillow for this...

Re: resmed machine NOISES?

Did anyone ever find a fix for this. Mine is doing the same thing. This is my second one in 2 months both make a whistling noise on exhale after the ramp. This is literally driving me insane. Just when I start to get asleep, here comes the train... Not really helping my apnea if I can't get to slee...

Re: LUNGS

We all naturally tend to be shallow breathers. CPAP may be causing you to breath more deeply while you sleep. This may be what you're feeling. At the end of the day there's nothing to worry about... Its just air.

Re: CPAP issues

Have you talked your issues through with your doctor yet? It could be an indication or one or more of many different issues. That's the first thing I would do.

If you find someone who makes "custom masks" let me know.

Re: RemZZZs Users

I've been using them for quite a while with nothing (dry) and the liner stays in place. Seems that using Vaseline or the like would reduce the life of the liner and just be messy in general. Are you pre-stretching out the center opening before using them? How about taping the edge on each side onto...
