Re: CPAPfit Pillow - Trial Offer for Feedback & Reviews
I've been using the pillow for about a month now. Time enough for a good sense of using it, I think. I'm a stomach & side sleeper, which can often make pillows tough, as they can dislodge my mask. After removing the better part of 2/3 of the stuffing, the size of the CPAPfit pillow seems just right ...

My nose is about 1.5" long. What a schnoz!
Incidentally, it fit's just fine in my mask.

There is also a replacement s9 humidifier water container that breaks down into 3 pieces for easy cleaning. It is also dishwasher safe.

Re: about ready to quit
I too am just coming off some sinus trouble. My ENT strongly urged me to use a neti pot or similar sinus rinse twice a day. Even now that I'm past the acute problems, I'm still using it daily. You might give that a shot. It certainly helps me.

Re: Worried about extreme tightness in chest during day
I have been feeling an extreme tightness in my chest/out of breath feeling the last few days (during the day). This is after 1 week of my most consistent PAP therapy (meaning I use every night and stays on all night). Should I be worried? I experienced exactly the same symptoms the first week or so...

Re: Struggling with CPAP treatment
A few things: 1. The S8 is an older machine, but if it still works then I would focus on improving your use/treatment efficacy rather than getting a new machine right away. 2. When you say you are taking the mask off because it isn't working, what are you feeling in that moment? Are you out of breat...

Re: nasal pillows - pros and cons?
I've been using the Mirage FX for around 3 years now with minimal problems. I toyed with a couple nasal pillows, and found them comfortable, but my high pressure (17) and stomach sleeping made them a little tougher for me. I agree with the previous person who suggested loosening up the strap until i...

Re: My Camping Battery Box
Do you do anything special to store it? I don't have a basement or garage, so it will likely end up in a closet somewhere.

CPAP bed pillow up for grabs - GONE
I bought one from woot.com awhile back and I'm just not using it (nothing wrong with it, I just find my old pillow more comfortable). Since it's just sitting in my closet, I thought someone else might enjoy it more than me. It's gotten very little use (less than 2 nights). It does, however, come fro...

Re: I was 100% compliant until...
I had the flu a couple months ago and had the same problems you're experiencing, although severe congestion was my major conflict with hosing up. I normally don't use it, but I found that using afrin nasal spray before bed was enough to get a good night sleep on the hose. Don't use it for too many d...

Re: I was prescribed an S9, need to make choices?
I know it might be a little extra out of pocket (depending on your insurance), but in the couple weeks since switching over from the respironics system one to the S9, I'd suggest adding the climateline hose. YMMV, but I've been more comfortable with the climateline than the straight humidifer on the...
