Re: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread

I received a recertified DS1 yesterday for my Series 50 that I've been using for 11 years.

Re: Searching for 3 letter words like Zeo, AHI, and REM

Those of you who have tried know the result will be "No suitable matches were found" because our search function does not recognize items of less than 4 characters. A work around is to use Google. In the Google search box, type the word you are looking for, like Zeo, followed by a space followed by...

Re: Opinions/Experience re the ZEO?

There needs to be a category for voting: "Interested in the Zeo and purchased one today a result of this thread." Mine will be here Thursday....ordered the bedside model after reading about issues with the travel version. Plus I have been meaning to get a new clock. I'm looking forward to giving it ...

Re: Intellipap Plus data errors

I appreciate that there is some initial shock upon seeing that number. When I woke from my nap and saw it I'll admit I was a bit panicked, but reality set in and I knew it couldn't possibly be right with the other numbers so out of whack. I quickly performed a Google search and checked here and foun...

Re: Intellipap Plus data errors

With all due respect, I think you are over reacting. After you have this happen once you obviously know the numbers are wrong so why freak out? From what I can tell the number is always something like 33 for the AHI and 9 hours for the time so you know what you are seeing. If you are unhappy, file a...

Re: Intellipap Plus data errors

This is kind of a known issue that has been reported by others previously on this forum. I had it happen a few weeks ago when I took a nap and woke up to those strange numbers and was being told I'd been asleep for 9 hours. It is a firmware glitch as far as I can tell but the correct data is on the ...

Re: NEW PR System One REMstar 60

That new dial knob interests me; I hate the current one with a passion! I wonder how hard it would be to switch out...maybe it just pops off.

I'd love to dig into that firmware and see what else may have changed.

Re: Your Choice, your Vote

An outright ban would be inadvisable and nearly impossible to enforce. Tell me how exactly one would define where the boundary between political/religious and secular topics actually lies. There is too much subjectivity in application at the margins...the better solution would be to create a separat...

Re: How to avoid back sleeping?

Handcuff your right arm to the left edge of your bed. I think at least one member here reported actually doing this with something other than actual handcuffs. That actually would be my solution except I'd prefer to tie my hand to the bedpost with some nice soft cloth, but the principle would be th...

Re: DeVilbiss/Card Error, Contact Provider

Hi Cotay, Thanks for responding. The yellow tab on the left is in the up position. It looks like if you push it down, that locks the data card. Is that what you are referring to? 49er Yup...that's the one. Can you read the card in your card reader attached to your computer? If so, you may want to t...

Re: DeVilbiss/Card Error, Contact Provider

I just took a nap and was hoping to get data out of this into Sleepyhead. When I inserted data card into machine, I received a "card error, contact provider" message. Tried formatting the card and encountered the same problem. Should I wait until I have a full night's data or do I need to head to B...

Re: DeVilbiis/Transferring data from machine/What am I missing

I don't use the DeVilbiss software myself...rather I use Sleepyhead. However, the principles should be the same. You need to connect the card reader to a USB port on your computer, insert the SD card into card reader, open the software program on the computer, and then import the data into the softw...

Re: DEATH FROM NOT USING CPAP

i WOULD NOT USE MY CPAP BECAUSE IT BOTHERED ME, i CODED FIVE TIMES TWO YEARS AGO, THE LAST TIME I WAS ON VENT FOR TEN DAYS, ALL BECAUSE I DID NOT USE MY CPAP. I never believed it would happen, my doctor told me if I did not use it that it would, finally when the fifth ventilator and coding happened...

Re: Switching SD Card From Primary to Travel Machine

I don't think the PR S1 machines will erase the SD card if used between 2 different machines. I cannot swear to it though. They aren't near as finicky as ResMed machines. I have sent an email to someone who I know had one SD card and used 2 different machines and asked her what happened with her re...
