Re: Seratonin

Other things to consider- Even if the doctor says everything is fine with your blood work, you might not be at optimal levels. For example, a few years ago, when my vitamin D tested out at 22ng/ML, the doctor said one source he looked at said that was fine. But according to many sources I have looke...

Re: Seratonin

I am not going to talk you out of meds either but you might want to consider that the chemical imbalance theory has never been proven.

Re: A new mask by Philips Amara View and Dreamwear combo

It's new and doesn't appear to be available just yet. It's not even on the Respironics website that I went to. You might ask your DME to keep you in mind if they happen to get one to demo. Often before a mask gets released to the public some DMEs will get demo models for people to try and give repo...

Re: CBD Oil

49er... most important question - is it helping you sleep? It definitely is helping me sleep. I am concerned about the quality but that may have more to do with other issues and not the oil. As soon as I take it, I am out immediately. How about staying asleep? About how many hours a night are you s...

Re: CBD Oil

There's probably a FB group dedicated to CBD Oil users. They will probably know re: dose. Sounds very promising. The dosage is a "your mileage will vary" type of deal. I started small but have worked up to around 65mg. For various reasons, I am beginning to wonder if I need to cut back and will see...

Re: CBD Oil

Anyone using CBD Oil for sleep? I'm hear that it's a wonderful sleep aid, works really well. I used this brand to replace the Temazepam I was taking for sleep. https://www.lazarusnaturals.com/shop/tinctures/cbd-flavorless-high-potency/ It is obviously not cheap but actually, this company has some o...

drfaust, That is horrible that neurologist treated you like she did. Sheesh! I just emailed Dr. Eckert today and wanted to see if he knew anyone who might help in the US. I will let you know if he responds. Thank you!! I sometimes wonder if I might have a mild form of narcolepsy. I don't know, thou...

Arlene, Not to hijack this thread but I wanted to thank you for posting that link as I feel it may be applicable to my situation. If drfaust or anyone is interested in following up with the author, Dr.Eckert, PhD, as I did, here is the contact information: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/P...

Re: Forced by job to get testing and CPAP I don't need..

I've been reading this thread with interest since your first post in Dec. Very happy to know you DON'T have sleep apnea. Some people automatically decide one has sleep apnea without hearing the official diagnosis, and insist that the person is in denial. Such is life on the forum. Thank you for the...

And some people swear by their chiropractors! I would not touch one with a 10 foot pole. Maybe a 40 foot rope, though. It depends on the person as I wouldn't touch many conventional and alternative professionals with a 10-foot pole. Regarding chiropractors, a former co-worker had great success with...

Not sure if you have tried magnesium......But I can promise you, if you find the right dosage, you will be able to not only initiate sleep, but stay a sleep longer.......You will want to get the citrate form.......most of the brands will come in 125-150mg per capsule...... the 200mg-350mg, appears ...

Re: Insomnia is ruining my life, cpap is not helping

Hi Air, You might want to look into CBD Oil without the THC (Marijuana) which is legal in all 50 states. If you feel this option is a possibility, as an FYI, I have found this facebook group to be very helpful, https://www.facebook.com/groups/cbdoilusersgroup/. They list the reputable vendors and th...
