OT: Prayers needed update
I wanted to let you know what's going on at this point with my son-in-law, and to tell you again how blessed we have been because of all the prayers you're all sending up for him. Last Monday he went to stepdown care, and a day later they added a voice valve to his trache so my daughter was able to ...

Re: Lab tests--what to cover for one last go?
I don't know about the stress test, I had one before a routine ventral hernia operation because when the surgeon did my pre-op and asked me about chest pain, I told him in the previous 6 months that I had experienced a lot of stress and had 2 brief bouts of mild chest (not even pain) feeling moments...

Re: What is your DME's mask return policy?
My insurance allows me a new mask every 3 months, my DME says take a mask home, after 30 days they will bill my ins. company, within the 30 days I can trade it for another. Swwwwweeeet, since I find most of the masks don't work for me, so if it's not a new one, I opt for the Aloha, Bella Loops, or S...

Re: Free at last--my hair is free at last thanks to Bella Loops
I love and use the Bella Loops in my mask rotation, I find the placement of your ears is not too much involved in the seal of the pillows as much as the angle of your nostrils. My nose is a bit upturned and so sometimes the seal is a bit harder to maintain, but when it seats properly it is amazing. ...

OT Need Prayers Update
I am so greatful for everyone's continued prayer for my son-in-law! I saw him yesterday in the ICU and I am amazed and blessed by the miracles we are recieving. Although he has a long road ahead, I was able to see him respond to my daughter's questions and try to follow the nurse's directions to him...

Re: Im a "stomach sleeper"! What Mask should I use?
I am a stomach sleep, and I've tried em all, execpt the full face. I find the Aloha, Swift LT. for her, and the Swift FX, also the Bella Loops to all work well for me, and I change up every now and then. Not an easy prospect for tummy sleepers to find the perfect mask, I wish you luck my friend!

Re: Our ancestor's two separate sleep stages - Ahhh, retirement?
I usually fall asleep within 20 minutes of hitting the pillow, and get about 5 to 6 hours of fragmented sleep. I find that in the summer, when I am not working, I get up with the hubby after the 5 to 6 hours of sleep, return to the bed for about an hour of solid sleep and feel way better after that ...

Re: Pilairo!
I have tried every way I can think of to lab-rat the pilairo nasal pillows with each of the headgears I have, the Bella Loops, the Swift FX, the Swift LT. for her but the pillows are not stable enough to lift off my upper lip and for me I feel as if I have a jellyfish on my face. I love the idea of ...

Re: Poll: Do you use your mask as it came or with modifications
The Bellario did not work for me. Since my head is rather small, there was no tension to keep the pillows there even on the tightest Bella strap position
