Encore Basic
Hi All, The link I have to download Encore Basic no longer works. I want to install it on a new computer and reinstall on a computer I had to wipe. Is there a new link that anyone is aware of? Jerry (6PtStar) sent me my link via PM. Sadly, it appears to have been removed. If anyone could help, I'd b...

Need advice regarding Dad's APAP
It's been a long time since I posted, but I need a little help with my Dad's APAP. Machine: PRS1 560P (Auto) Pressure: 10-18 Mask: Resmed Quattro FX He has yet to adjust well to the machine, but lately it has been worse. I do look at his data with Sleepyhead, but I am at the end of my knowledge, and...

Encore Basic Question
My Dad's first return appt. since getting his machine (PRS1 AUTO 560P) is tomorrow. I took his card to the DME to get the official reports to bring to his MD, but the guy said that the card could not be read. The software kept telling him to "Contact Customer Service." Therefore, I wasn't able to ge...

Re: Questions on SR1 Auto
I have a 550P and it is very quiet, sometimes it will whistle a little if I need to change the filter, but usually the only way I know it is running is the air blowing in my mask.

Re: Mask headgear is much looser in AM
Which mask? How often does he wash his headgear? New headgear?......older headgear? Perspiration/sweat can cause stretching. Then, drying (like during the day) will shrink it back up again......until during the night when it starts to stretch out again. This can happen whether it's been washed or j...

Thank you, Pugsy, that makes a lot of sense. We'll see what we can do to remedy the situation.

Re: Do any of you have problems with scents, odors?
Seems like it is still popular with very elderly ladies...I can smell that smell a mile away!! Just wait 'til you get stuck in a doctor's office with someone who doused themselves with it.

Re: Do any of you have problems with scents, odors?
Yes, I can't wear perfume or use strong chemicals because I will have respiratory issues. I nearly choke when I have to be in a crowded place with people who are wearing strong perfume. Sometimes I wish there was a little label on the perfume that said, "Please, only ONE squirt, there may be people ...

Mask headgear is much looser in AM
My Dad has been mentioning to me that his headgear and mask are much looser as it gets closer to morning; therefore he has leaks that wake him up. When he adjusts his mask to go to sleep, the mask and headgear fit just right. He is wondering if this could be related to swelling in his face that diss...

Re: Software? Someone let me in (noob here)
Interesting. Thanks, everyone. My main issue is that I haven't felt any improvement since I started the therapy, and I was just on the verge of doing another sleep study and some sort of "daytime wake/sleep study" (can't remember the name of this, but it involved going to the same hotel and basical...

Re: Software? Someone let me in (noob here)
Awesome! Well, I guess I can't do anything until I get insurance again. There are some members on here who sell used cpap machines that record full data: they may have one you can afford to purchase out of pocket...I hate for you to keep on feeling lousy. I have dealt with STL MARK before, he might...
