Re: SUPOTTO-BELT CPAP BELT
I don't have a 2 strap solution to share, but I have been using a resmed N30i single strap on my dreamwear nasal. It has moderately improved the slipping up on the back of the head. It also doesn't stretch out as quickly. I been using my current one for around 6 months and it is still "like" new co...

SUPOTTO-BELT CPAP BELT
Doing a search, it appears that no one has yet reviewed this alternative headgear for FFM users. Since going back to the Phillips Dreamware Original as my best choice mask, I am back to the problem of the flimsy little backstrap repeatedly sliding up the back of my head during the night, which of co...

Re: CPAP Basics - 14 - CPAP Alternatives
But some negative side effects, costs, and inconvenience remain. So I will continue to search for alternatives. I suggest that you purchase and take lessons on the use of the didgeridoo for sleep apnea. They say that it has good results for some and, as far as I can see, no one here on cpaptalk has...

Re: Full face and still dry mouth
I use an Air Sense 10 w/full face mask and still have dry mouth during the night. Any ideas? Thanks. I had this same problem. I can vouch for the xylimelts (not plain xylitol lozenges). Xylimelts are special because one side is a dissolving adhesive. It sticks on your gum line and dissolves slowly ...

By the way, the photo to the left is an avatar intended as a bit of humor regarding supersleeper Rip Van Winkle, not a photo of me. My moustache and beard are both very short and closely trimmed. When discussing maskfit, the avatar sometimes confuses the issue.

Re: Respironics DreamWear Full Face Mask Review
Did you try a mask liner? Yes, but it didn't help. Made it worse. I eventually gave up on their FFM and went back to the original Dreamware with Micropore tape over my mouth and I think the tape is gradually retraining me to keep my mouth shut because some mornings now I get good reports even when ...

Re: Access to ResMed software
You can get it here but I much prefer Sleepyhead. http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-ResScan-6-0-Software-Download-Link-for-ResMed-machines-only The output from my brandnew replacement ResMed is still accepted by SleepyHead but no longer accepted by my old version of Rescan, so I followed the ...

Re: ADVICE PLEASE from Dreamware FFM USERS…
... I haven't posted as I do not use the Dreamware mask. If you are looking to switch FFMs, you might investigate my mask (click on it in my signature). It has pillows and covers the mouth, comes with 3 sizes of each. It is very kind of you to make that suggestion, Muse and I thank you! Unfortunate...

Re: ADVICE PLEASE from Dreamwear FFM USERS…
I have been using the Dreamwear Full Face Mask since I started. I love it and could not wear one that covered my nose so I was glad when my sleep specialist let me try one. I have struggled with many leaks and a lot of large leaks. I did not give up because I knew that if I could not make this mask...

Re: ADVICE PLEASE from Dreamware FFM USERS…
I have using the Dreamwear FFM for a few months - I used the Amara View FFM before that. The way I have mine adjusted I have to pull the bottom straps down in the back to stop the leaks. None of the straps are very tight. Thanks for that suggestion, ClayL. Maybe I should loosen the straps? Will try...

Re: ADVICE PLEASE from Dreamware FFM USERS…
I use this mask with success. Only issue I have is that I have to adjust the top straps rather tight. If I don’t the top headgear moves when I turn from side to side. I tried the small frame but was too small. As far as leaks no problem but I found if there are leaks a slight upward movement on the...

Hi Okie, just to let you know I haven't received the pattern yet, although I pm'd you my email address. Whenever you have time, I would appreciate it.
Thanks, Nate
