Re: Trying a new style Dreamware Face Mask

What does the bottom mouth part do? Does it cause you to breathe through your mouth as well as your nose? Or does it just keep your mouth sealed shut? What are the round things for on each side of the mouth part? --------> https://www.sleepapnea.com/products/masks/dreamwear/full-face/resources Than...

What does the bottom mouth part do? Does it cause you to breathe through your mouth as well as your nose? Or does it just keep your mouth sealed shut? What are the round things for on each side of the mouth part? I am using an original Dreamware with the cushion below my nose plus an elastic Halo he...

Re: Dry Mouth

I would still like to take a little sip of water occasionally during the night, just out of habit. https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Wonder-Flo+Cup - or - break the habit. Actually I was thinking of something with a longer curve or flex that I could threa...

Re: Dry Mouth

Does anyone know of where I would find a little curved or flexible pipette to fit over my water bottle? About the size in diameter of a cocktail straw???? If I were to sip out of one of those little cocktail straws, I would be very disappointed to get water. I would be expecting Jack Daniels. Regar...

Re: Dry Mouth

Now that I've got my mouth fully covered and pretty much eliminated the dry mouth, I would still like to take a little sip of water occasionally during the night, just out of habit. Re: Dry Mouth

agreed, I had a bit of sputtering mouth leak even after the chin strap, but I just kept telling myself not to allow mouth leak before I went to bed (I got the idea because I did this method to start sleeping on my side and it worked) and eventually I seemed to stop mouth leak, but of course I don't...

Re: Dry Mouth

This used to happen with my nasal pillows because I would open my mouth and air would shoot in my nose and out my mouth, I fixed this by using a hair band from target it (a black circular one). I tried actual Apnea jaw strap but it was horrible and annoying. the hair band worked great and eliminate...

Re: Homemade chin strap - SUCCESS!

I called all the models I know, but then I realized I don't know any models. So I just grabbed this guy off the nearby street corner to model for me. Just try to contain yourselves, this plaid is to the opposite sex like catnip is to cats. Or gorillas. http://i888.photobucket.com/albums/ac85/solley...

Re: Dry Mouth

I have been trying to retrain so that I once again can only use a nasal pillow. My problem is that I will breathe some through my mouth and awaken with a very dry mouth--everything glued together it seems. I am using the humidifier on the machine, for what that is worth. I wear a jaw strap, but tha...

Re: SleepyHead-Any chart for "Time over red line"?

NateS, The data you want to track is on the Detailed Data left side bar, but unfortunately there is no way of looking at that data visually over time in SH and there appears to be no way to export that data as a csv file. If I needed to track that data visually over time I think I'd just create a s...

Re: SleepyHead-Any chart for "Time over red line"?

You can get closer with ResScan. It will export patient Summary Data for a chosen time period. The data includes "leak", but I don't know what that represents. It might be 95%, median, max, or ? I doubt the detail is fine enough for your purposes, but it might provide some insight. The only advanta...

Re: SleepyHead-Any chart for "Time over red line"?

… I think I might play around with your suggestion of a csv export when I have the time and inclination, and see if is workable. Okay, a csv export produces these columns: Total Time AHI H Count OA Count UA Count CA Count VS Count VS2 Count RE Count FL Count SA Count NR Count EP Count LF Count UF1 ...

Re: SleepyHead-Any chart for "Time over red line"?

Hi Nate, I think I know what you want but I don't know of any way to get it short of manually entering the data into some sort of graphing program daily and that's probably more work than you want to do. I don't know if the csv data files will do it or not. Worth a shot if you know how to do that s...

Re: SleepyHead-Any chart for "Time over red line"?

I read the length of time above the red line from the ResScan chart. All are ResScan: … [quote="avi123"……[/quote] Hi avi, Just wondering if you had the answer to my question: I know the number appears in daily view, but since I personally choose to concentrate on that number a lot in trying to cont...

Re: SleepyHead-Any chart for "Time over red line"?

Is there any way in Sleepyhead to have it create a waveform chart for "Time over red line"? nope, sorry. Thanks for your quick and frank reply, PR! Boohoo! Well, here's a followup thought - is there anyway to export the "Time over red line" numbers out of Sleepyhead so as to import them into Excel ...
