Re: S9 Autoset not delivering correct pressure

the machine is set to a fairly tight range, but, you might notice the pressure summary line: minimum: 8.22 median: 13.62 95%: 14.42 max: 15.18 The pressure summary line is not interesting, the detailed pressure graph is. I have been doing this for a while and I do know something about it. I stand b...

the machine is set to a fairly tight range, but, you might notice the pressure summary line: minimum: 8.22 median: 13.62 95%: 14.42 max: 15.18 that right there says you're full of fertilizer. what all that means is that their pressure settings are RIGHT, not too high, and you should stop talking cr...

Re: S9 Autoset not delivering correct pressure

Btw. Your graphs shows that your machine is in fact working as a streight CPAP, there is as good as no autoadjusting taking place in the pressure graph. this is *wrong*. look again. I see that the machine is set to auto. But look at the pressure graph, during the whole timespan of the graph, there ...

Re: S9 Autoset not delivering correct pressure

I see that you have EPR set to 2. Did you have and use EPR on your old machine? EPR drops your pressure to 11,6 during exhale and could account for you feeling that the pressure is too low. To stop snoring is not the primary goal of the CPAP. Your graphs shows that you are getting very good therapy,...

Re: ResMed's New Zeo like Sleep Monitor/Analyzer

It would be interesting to see if someone could record data with both a ZEO and S+ and compare the data

Re: Suggestions for a newbie buying a mask?

I agree that the Swift FX is the place to start. If nasal pillows masks does not work for you, I recommend that you try the Mirage FX nasal mask next.

Do you have this patch installed?

viewtopic/t83551/SleepyHead-Series-60-Patch-Avail.html

This fixed my problems with importing Zeo data.

Re: Centrals been on the rise a bit.. Lower pressure?

If 7 is as low as you can go, use that. Your data looks good and I think you'll get used to the lower pressure after a few nights. I go to sleep at 4 every night. I lay down for a couple of minutes to let my breathing calm all the way down before I put on the mask. Then the breathing feels very comf...

Re: Centrals been on the rise a bit.. Lower pressure?

3 Nights with min. dropped to 7cm. Not sure what to make of things.. : The data says your doing very well, your pressure is still higher than you really need. But your AHI is down and there is improvement in the CA's without any ill effect on anything else. If you can breathe and feel comfortable, ...

Re: ResMed S8 AutoScore II

It looks like Resmed used the name AutoScore in Australia and AutoSet elsewhere. Most likely only a name difference, both are APAP's.

Re: Air Leaking Mirage FX Wide

Are you sure you need the wide mask?
Do you have facial hair?
Is your headgear tight enough?
What is your pressure?

I have the Mirage FX and like it a lot. It's very comfortable and seals well with little tension on the headgear for me.

Re: Which Zeo model to get?

Are there any other toys out there for sleep disorder sufferers? Having all this data is cool. For general health, I'm thinking about adding a PC capable blood pressure monitor. I'll take a reading each day. Also, a PC capable weight scale. I have one of these laying around: http://www.choicemmed.c...

Re: Centrals been on the rise a bit.. Lower pressure?

I may try 7. I remember at 6, things seemed a bit too suffocating. It seems ever since I visited that FFM a month back, give or take a week, and my pressure needs increased with it along with the leaks that now back on the nasal pillows, it's a whole new scenario and like you mention, I made need t...

Re: Centrals been on the rise a bit.. Lower pressure?

I would suggest that you just drop your pressure down as low as you can go without feeling suffocated. 5 or 6 maybe? Then just check out your data each day and adjust upward if there is any reason to do so. As flat as your pressure graph is at 9, I find it very unlikely that you'll find any reason o...
