Re: Wet nose?
Room air is already 75F/25C. I would hate warmer air. Humidity sensors claim about 50% or 30% (I expect the higher one is better).

Curious if AU socialized medical system outlaws the “ask your doctor about x medication” type ads, full page print, and the rest of the direct to consumer marketing we have in the US. There are only two countries in the world that allow that type of advertising (US and I think Ireland or New Zealan...

Re: Oximeter Recommendations
Some [forgot the name- the ones selling gear] have SpO2 sensors for rent. The S10 has the ability to plug in a module that records the details and the data programs will read that.

Wet nose?
I haven't used a humidifier for years. I use a resmed S9 and a nasal N20 mask.
I keep getting a wet nose. Wet like a beagle puppy wet nose.
Anyone have any ideas what is wrong?

Re: Best CPAP backup battery?
I have an old resmed S9 but I have their way over priced 12/24V DC to their 24 adapter. I also have an old car battery, a 12V gel cell and as LTO array I can hook it up to. My power has gone out for many hours over the last few months. I use Aldi battery chargers to keep the old car batter and the g...

Aussies only - air touch n20 mediums
I have some brand new and sealed resmed airtouch n20 medium cushions completely sealed. I'm keeping the rest of the mask stuff since I used the older n20 non-airtouch stuff. I've used one and it was too small. The rest of the stuff is up for sale. That is the wrong word since I'm giving it away. if ...

Based on serial number the two S9 I have access to were made in 2010 and 2011. They complain but they still work.

Re: Can anyone id this SpO2 sensor connector?
Also does anyone know if Oscar displays SpO2 other than in the Daily view. It seems like it doesn't have anything on the Overview or Statistics but I only have 1 day of data using the sensor.

Can anyone id this SpO2 sensor connector?
I have a cable with this connector on one end and the other end is a standard Nonin xpod 3012 db 9 SpO2 connector on the other. spo2-6pin.png Does anyone know what device this plugged into or where to get a connector for the 6 pin end? The 6 pin end fits a standard 0.1 inch header. The pins on the t...

Re: ResMed 10 ERROR MSG: Motor has exceeded ...
Run hours cannot be reset.....36.000 hours are 12 years or more..Personally, with 14 years on this board, I have never heard of a machine with that many hours. The message on the screen normally triggers at about 22-23,000 hours. In your mom's case , that would have been 3-4 years ago. I got the im...

Re: ResMed 10 ERROR MSG: Motor has exceeded ...
Really wish people would state the Run Hours there machines had when the message started displaying , and not the age. The trigger for the message is likely to be the run hours and knowing that would be of more value, than age. My S9 has 31,000 hours and my mother's S9 had 36,000. The message start...

Re: Resmed S9 adapter to battery power-bank
The power supply talks to the S9 so if you don't have the correct power supply, it won't work.
Your best bet is to find a used power supply.
I have an old S9 that I use off batteries but the S10 needs yet another different expensive adapter.
