Re: Encore Pro 2 software
I've not been able to get the 32 bit version to install. First it kept wanting me to perform a reboot - it was an endless cycles of this. Tried disabling the antivirus software etc. to no effect. Finally I right clicked on the downloaded .exe file and went to Properties and disabled the security blo...

Re: Where can I download Encore Pro 2?
Should I worry about the possibility of getting a virus doing the download? If so, what steps can be taken to reduce the risk? Source is not a typical torrents site with those bugs. I have download both the 32 and 64 bit version. My Security programs found nothing and I don't seem to have any weird...

Re: Advice For New OA Patient
Georgio, I did my titration study with a Swift LT but started at home with the Swift FX - I love it and apparently so do many others. Less scary appearing for family members also. I think I read that about 41% of sales are Swift FX masks. - not sure if that is % of all mask sales or of nasal pillow ...

Re: Titration Appointment tomorrow wondering what to expect
I think that the "go with the flow" advice from the poster above is excellent. Expect good things to happen - maybe not right away but soon. Some people immediately feel better and some have to work to overcome a problem or two. Expect good results and be positive. Seek advice here if you encounter ...

Bad Advice or Myths About CPAP
What sorts of bad advice or myths have you heard about CPAP? For instance, I was told by my sleep technician to avoid getting a heated humidifier. He said they made him feel like he was sleeping in a jungle. I got one and it feels fine to me - it's just a matter of adjusting to it to the right heat ...

Re: DME vent
I had similar problems trying to deal with a "reputable" name DME. I think that manipulation by DMEs is typical and a scandel. Instead of dealing with them and the "rent to own" scheme, I direct purchased a slightly used machine. It's an older model without all the bells and whistles but I'm happy w...
