Re: CPAP causing vertigo symptoms??
I have just begun using CPAP this week, and I have had dizziness!!!! Sometimes it occurs as soon as I put it on. Other times, it is just happening throughout the day, especially when I get up from a reclined position. I have hesitated to call the dr because I figured it was due to the CPAP adjustmen...

Re: Newlywed & Newly diagnosed!
Napstress, your story is so amusing! That is an excellent idea for the cat because that is exactly what she does! Meows and scratches. I am strongly considering the queen and the twin...we would just need to rearrange our current set-up for bedrooms but I guess it just might be worth it. Thank you a...

Re: Surprise: not sleep apnea but arousal apnea
Nightmonkey, this is what my husband does. His feet wind up on his pillow and kick me. But he doesn't complain of not breathing or being tired. ?

Re: Auto-adjust pressure
I purchased an older machine, and it is actually not listed as an option. But the picture I have and the description is the closest choice. I do have the software option, but for some reason, the procedures the team is following with me does not walk me through reading it and interpreting the data u...

Auto-adjust pressure
I am a newbie... Had a pretty good night's sleep. I have not learned yet how to interpret data. My doctor wants me to use the CPAP one month and return to view and discuss it. So, I have a question. My pressure is set to automatically alternate between 5-7 based on my breathing needs. So last night ...

Re: Newlywed & Newly diagnosed!
Wow, thanks so much everyone! This has been very helpful! DH and I have been discussing it all. The big thing is we don't want to invest money in a bed(s) that will not be beneficial so we want the best choice! Papforlife, you are funny! My CPAP seems to be very quiet, and the cat is a 100% love-a-h...

Re: Newlywed & Newly diagnosed!
I am BRAND NEW! I have had my CPAP a week. I did have trouble adjusting to co-sleeping with DH even prior to my CPAP since I am a light sleeper. I desired my own bed even then, and now that I'm adjusting to CPAP, I am concerned that my sleeping arrangements are going to deter me from being successfu...

Re: Newlywed & Newly diagnosed!
Thank you for the welcome! My feelings regarding my CPAP are not embarrassment...and my desires would be to cuddle at night, even with the mask on. The reason I wait to put the mask on is that he falls asleep within 5 minutes and I don't want to disturb him so I just wait the 5 minutes. My questions...
