Re: How do I show % spontaneous triggered breaths
That's really odd. I wonder why they would remove that? So sorry for pointing it out to you, since you did not miss having it there. They probably made the change in version 4.1. I wonder if it is in version 4.2?

Re: % spontaneous cycled breaths
I'm posting this because I probably went on a little to long in the first part. Makes it hard for reading. What is % spontaneous cycled breaths, as found on the vpap auto. I know it is not the amount of breaths you have taken on your own. It has something to do with the rhythm of your breathing agai...

Re: How do I show % spontaneous triggered breaths
I think that it depends on the machine that is used as to what is shown on the reports. The higher end ASV type of machines seem to report more breathing details. I looked all over ResScan last night after your other comment about cycled breaths to find out any other way it is shown or if I had som...

How do I show % spontaneous triggered breaths
How do I show the % of spontaneous triggered breaths in the ResScan printouts. I seen someones ResScan chart here somewhere, that had both the % of spontaneous triggered breaths & the % of Spontaneous cycled breaths. At this time, I only show the % of spontaneous cycled breaths on my ResScan report....

% spontaneous cycled breaths
Hello everyone, I am having issues with the % spontaneous cycled breaths. I first need to really understand what it is. Just looking at it, it sounds like the percent of breaths you've taken on your own. Hence the word spontaneous. That however is not what it is. I have searched high & low for a ans...

Re: ResScan 3.14 problems
Thanks for your help Liz, I finally have got it working properly. I initially installed 4.1. First time around, it was creating literally hundreds of warnings in the event viewer. They were serious warnings about the same thing. It said the program was attempting to make changes to a protected regis...

ResScan 3.14 problems
Hi everyone, I had to reinstall windows (after 2 years) When I reinstalled ResScan, all seemed fine. I did not download any of the drivers, as I already have a SD card reader on my computer. I put all the .rlk files back in the patient folder. They added up to about 4.5 gigs. The program seems to ru...

Re: I do not understand why my centrals are increasing
The pain was only severe the first 3 days after surgery & then only when I moved, caughed or sneezed. It's been gone for some time now.

Re: I do not understand why my centrals are increasing
I never took any pain meds after the surgery, as much as I really needed it. I did not take anything for pain, just to avoid any problems, like the one that has happened.

Re: I do not understand why my centrals are increasing
There has been no change in my medications. There has been no change in anything, that I can think of. I did have surgery on March 21 for 2 hernias. Even then, I was still having the odd raised numbers in centrals before that. Nothing near what they have reached now. Could the general anaesthetic of...

Re: I do not understand why my centrals are increasing
Thanks for your comments & help Pugsy & Rubysue. THis next image is has been set to 5 minutes, so you can see everything better. I do have the vpap auto. It shows I & E ratios & the percent of spontaneous breaths. Normally I am at 99 percent. I do not understand why they show it, but they do. I also...

I do not understand why my centrals are increasing
Over the last year, my centrals have been kept at about .05. Over the past few months, I began to get the odd day, maybe twice a month, where I would have between a central index of 3 & 6. Lately, meaning the 8 days, they have been getting higher. Yesterday I had a central index of 11.5 & today, I h...

Re: Nasal Spray & AHI
May you have a quick and smooth recovery from your surgery, red1. It will be good to get that variable affecting your sleep out of the way. My bedroom does need a good old fashioned thorough cleaning. (.... ) I vaccum each day. Wow! I'm in awe that you vacuum every day! I had another thought about ...

Re: Nasal Spray & AHI
I know I do have allergies to dust & cats. Fortunately I no longer have a cat. Dust on the other hand ... Ah.... dust! The very first thing my Sleep Specialist had me do was replace my down comforter with something non-allergenic, wipe down the walls of my bedroom, vacuum, and wash the curtains. I ...
