Re: 2 years after nasal septum surgery, and I need help.

Pugsy and Miss Emérita,
Good evening!

I'm not feeling completely rested. Do you think I keep pressure 10-13 and put EPR2?

Re: 2 years after nasal septum surgery, and I need help.

Hi everybody! Good Morning! Pugsy, Thank you for helping me! I changed my pressure to 10-13 EPR1, aerophagia is ok, only 3 big farts. Hahahhah I can't sleep more than 6:30hs (only with beer Hahah). I think I have to get used to sleeping with the new pressures, I remember that when I started with CPA...

Re: 2 years after nasal septum surgery, and I need help.

Hi Pugsy,
Good night!

The graphics are better today!
I'm still here without aerophagia, but today I felt a little tired, I think it's about the new pressures and only 6hs of sleep.
I will hold on 9.4 - 13

Re: 2 years after nasal septum surgery, and I need help.

Well....is the "I've felt good all day" just from no aerophagia or is it a general "I've felt good all day" that we all like to experience? Thanks a lot for the help! I felt good all day, compared to the previous treatment with pressure 8 - 10, it's good, but not excellent. And it was excellent wit...

Re: 2 years after nasal septum surgery, and I need help.

Good night everyone!

Pugsy,
I felt good all day! Look the graphics of the last night, the maximum pressure is still saturated. Do you think I should increase gradually? Can I try 13.00?

Re: 2 years after nasal septum surgery, and I need help.

Sure, you can try max of 12 and see if the machine hits it very often. If the aerophagia returns then back up. There's no urgent reason to increase the pressure or let it go higher. I was just offering it as something to do to see if your daytime fatigue would lessen. Any idea what changes when you...

Re: 2 years after nasal septum surgery, and I need help.

Any special reason that you have tied the machines hands with the max limited to 10 cm? No. After surgery, my sleep study was 9, and I put 8 to 10. Before surgery, sleep study was 10. It clearly wants to go higher but can't. Now if the going higher creates a problem (bad aerophagia or something) th...

2 years after nasal septum surgery, and I need help.

Hi everybody! I have been using cpap since 2009, when there were no reports, but now we have OSCAR and Sleepyhead. My Apnea is under control, but I feel back without energy during the day, and I feel fatigue again. Before the septum surgery (2018), my pressure used to be from 9 to 12, now it is from...

Re: Do you clean water chamber daily or just top off?

I use filtered water and rinse every morning with tap water and wash twice a month. Because filtered water deposits minerals.

Re: Resmed S9 Elite Teardown with pictures

The flow sensor. This rubber that I told is the tunnel rubber of baffle. I'll just spread oil too thin, not drip. But what kind of oil will not deteriorate the tunnel rubber? there are two tubes on the flow sensor, again, I wouldn't put *ANY* oil of any sort on there. it never had oil on it, it sho...

Re: Resmed S9 Elite Teardown with pictures

I think is because of the baffle rubber, when I tighten the screw board, it gets normal. I washed this rubber, I think it needs some oil, silicone to fit better. or something that can fit the rubber on flow sensor better. I think my rubber is like a folded hose now, but I is impossible to see or ch...

Re: Resmed S9 Elite Teardown with pictures

Hi everybody! I did the disassembly, and found my S9 loose on expiratory after assembly, but I tested on barometer and the pressure is OK. I disabled EPR too. Anyone ever noticed the same? Any help? I'm afraid I'm not following exactly what you mean, but I haven't noticed any differences before or ...
