Re: OSCAR type application for smart phone

Okay thanks. So it sounds like SleepHQ would still need fiddling with the SD card, which is something I am trying to eliminate.

I guess I was hoping for some "hack" to transmit the data that gets sent to myAIr someplace else.

OSCAR type application for smart phone

I know ResMed has myAir, which is nice, but very basic, and I think Phillips has something similar. Is there anything out there that gives more details though that you can use on an iPhone or iPad? I love Oscar, but it would be nice to dig in without having to remove the SD card, upload it on my old...

Re: Leak Rate question

Okay, so I have some homework to do then. Only other place I can think of is the water tank (the seal in the tank itself and then the seal when you push the tank into the machine).

Re: Leak Rate question

but when your leak rate is 20 lpm, when you first put your mask on, and you don't feel anything, that leak is coming from somewhere. I'm wondering if that 20lpm is the expected leak rate from the pillow. On the AirFit, there is supposed to be some leak (I've been trying to find on the ResMed site w...

Re: Leak Rate question

I don't believe that the leaks are waking me up at this time. I do know there was a phase when I was waking up with my mouth open for some reason, but that was quite some time ago.

Here are the AHI, LL, and leak rate charts for the past 92 days.

Leak Rate question

I know there is another question out there recently about this, but with a different OP and different unit. Not wanting to Hijack their thread, I started a new one. I have been trying to find ways to increase my quality sleep. I was getting up quite a bit, and I am working on that. One of the other ...

Re: Still tired after CPAP and 8 hours of sleep

I think some of it is just habit. I will normally read for about half an hour, and I have this habit of sometimes having a little popcorn or pretzels while reading and a big full glass of ice water. I think what might be better is just to go cold turkey with the snack and water two hours before bed....

Re: Still tired after CPAP and 8 hours of sleep

Hi Pugsy, I'm 53m so prostate is a concern at my age. I did take a prostate test recently, and all was good on that end. Being that I am a cardiac patient as well, I get blood tests quite often, and the only thing that was a little out of order last time was my glucose, but I am also a type 2 diabet...

Still tired after CPAP and 8 hours of sleep

I have been using my CPAP for many years now, my event status is nice and low, (under 1 event an hour) and I try and make sure I get more than 8 hours of sleep (normally closer to 9 hours). But on many mornings, I am still tired. Why? I don't drink alcohol, I do drink coffee but only in the morning,...

Re: Question for Nasal Pillow Users

The only time I have had any soreness under my nose is when the strap holding the pillows onto my nose was too tight. My pillows are quite soft, so I never noticed any issues from them when I started though.

Re: New P10 Headgear - N30 Slippage Fix

I really dislike the new headgear. Mine actually broke as I had to tighten it up sop many times each night that it just wore out in less than a month. Thank goodness I have one of my old straps still.

Re: AirMini - More Info (And ask your questions)

I don't think I'd be able to use this without a humidifier. I've traveled with my old S9 all the time and never was an issue since it was not counted as part of my carry on luggage. Personally, I'll save my money and just travel with my full size unit. It's not that big of a deal.

Re: New machine and increased AHI

So I have slept the last two night with an AHI of .2 and .1 respectively with the EPR turned off. The EPR being turned on must have been what was causing my higher than normal AHI. Glad I am back to what I normally see.
