Re: Where to buy Aircurve 10 ASV
Thanks everyone for your help with getting a new ASV machine. Looks like I'll be keeping the one I have for now as my wife is getting a new job with the same insurance so I won't have a lax in coverage. I appreciate your responses and comments. Thanks very much with everything!

Re: resmed aircurve 10 asv Data
Just wondering how much the Aircurve asv used from them was? It is a nice machine for sure I actually got it new through Kaiser. I bought a used back up machine a Respironics Bipap Auto SV Advanced through SecondWind for about a grand. I wanted that model because it's what I had and was used to and...

Re: resmed aircurve 10 asv Data
I my opinion you got the best machine for your problem and you can trust that low AHI....it's just what the ASV can do when given a chance. Don't get ResScan 6.0 if you get ResScan....get 5.9....6.0 has a real annoying log in password process and it doesn't offer you anything that 5.9 won't offer. ...

Re: resmed aircurve 10 asv Data
You went from a Respironics ASV (and an old one at that) to a ResMed ASV...which model did you get S9 Adapt or AirCurve 10 ASV? Does't surprise me one bit that the AHI has dropped....different algorithms between the 2 brands for one thing. You can use SleepyHead or ResScan software (or both if you ...

My ancient Repironics BiPAP auto SV advanced died a few weeks ago. Thanks again Pugsy for giving me the name of SecondWind, got a backup machine from them until I could get a new machine. Question is this... I was used to pulling my old card and putting it in the infineer card reader and reading my ...

Re: Machine died last night
Thank you very much Pugsy, I really appreciate the information, and I'll check out that website as well. Not fun sleeping without any machine at all, I'm too used to it and feel terrible today. Think I will be getting a back up after this as soon as I can.

Machine died last night
My ancient Respironics Bipap autoSV advanced quit working last night. I knew it was on it's last legs awhile back. I have Kaiser insurance who works with Apria. When I was first diagnosed 6 years ago they sent me to Apria who gave me an outdated model at the time and rented it to me for a hundred a ...

Need new machine advice
Hello, I haven't posted in a few years as everything has been going well. My machine is ancient and starting to go out I believe. It's a Respironics BiPAP autoSV advanced. I have complex sleep apnea and need to know what the current replacement for this would be. Thanks in advance.

Re: Sleeping Longer on new Waterbed
I LOVE waterbeds. I had one for decades (couple of mattresses, same frame). They're great for back pain for me too. Unfortunately, I have a cat that sleeps with me, and he manages to cause the occasional issue. I had one too many nights waking up in a puddle. Thankfully the liner does its job. Now ...

Sleeping Longer on new Waterbed
Have been on my ASV for a few years now, but still felt tired due to not enough hours sleep. Averaged about 6 hours a night, and woke up with aches and pains in my back from sleeping on another lousy regular mattress. Wife and I have tried very expensive pillow tops, down to cheap new mattresses wit...
