Re: Kaiser Ins and Apria
I have Kaiser in the North Bay Area. They do run you in groups like cattle, as they told us they diagnose over 50 patients a week with Sleep Apnea, so they are very busy. However I ended up with Complex Sleep Apnea, and they did refer me to 3 separate sleep studies at an outside sleep lab. You have ...

Re: OT: Need Advice on New TV
Also have a 42 inch Vizio and it has been an excellent and reliable TV. Along with that at the same time bought an internet capable Blu Ray player for streaming Netflix. Recently purchased a 50 inch Panasonic Plasma with internet apps. Have found it much more convenient to get the internet apps that...

Re: How long after Nasal Surgery before your back on the hose?
Hey guys, Just had Septoplasty and Turbinate Surgery on Monday, and am in the recovery stage. Will have the plastic splints taken out on Monday. Just wondering from those of you that have been through this, about how long after they take out the splints can you go back on the hose? I'm sure the Dr....

Re: How long after Nasal Surgery before your back on the hose?
From your old posts it seemed that ASV was working decently for you. Why did you choose to get the surgery? It was working very well for me. However my left nostril was almost completely blocked due to a deviated septum, and thought it was about time to get it taken care of. Want to go back to Lap ...

1 Year anniversary on ASV
Hey guys, Just wanted to check in again since today is my one year anniversary on my ASV machine. As some of you may remember It's been a roller coaster ride trying to get things dialed in correctly. My sleep Dr's were of little to no help at all, and completely clueless when it came to ASV's and th...

Re: Very big day for me!
Janice good luck with your therapy, I don't blame you a bit. Sounds like we have some of the same Dr.'s, as mine either don't care, or are completely incompetent. This situation with the Dr.'s unfortunately seems to be fairly common, at least that is what I ran into. As Taz mentioned take baby steps...

A woman is in a coma, and the nurse tending to her notices that whenever she is sponge bathing the woman, the woman’s vital signs jump a little on all of the machines and screens. So the nurse calls the husband and says ’come down to the hospital, I think I know how to get your wife out of this coma...

Re: Pressure induced Centrals: Need advice please. ASV next?
Unfortunately I am finding out the hard way if you have anything over the run of the mill obstructive sleep apnea, your pretty much screwed. At least that has been my experience since starting this journey. Have yet to see one sleep Dr. or respiratory therapist that knows anything about my machine, ...
