Re: SleepyHead software - Problems with 64-bit Windows 7?

There is a newer version of Sleepyhead (0.8.7) and this is in the update features: "What's New? You can now Shift+Left Click on a day in an overview graph, and it will jump to that day in Daily tab. New calendar navigation bar allows easy hiding the calendar to get more room. (Relative) AHI is displ...

Re: Insurance procedure code

As far as I know these are the codes for CPAP and BiPAP machines.
E0601 Continuous airway pressure (CPAP) device (e.g. smart CPAP, auto CPAP, CPAP)
E0470 Bilevel
E0471 Bilevel with backup rate

Yours seems to be E0601 as far as I can tell.
Good Luck!

Re: Anyone know if PR System one Humidifier

Here is what a complete one should look like. Bottom half and top half together. The black almost diagonal line is the division between the halves.

Re: showing a code e-24

My Remstar is showing a code e-24 and does not work, do I have to send it off to repair it????????????? Sorry about furthering the hijack but the code E-24 says: E-24 ERR_UNRECOGNIZED_CAL_VERSION_BY_SW •Improper calibration •Defective FLASH chip •Recalibrate •Replace Main PCA Doesn't sound too good...

Re: Resmed Error Code 1039

Unfortunately I am not aware of a list of error codes for Resmed units. Instead they advise calling their service.
This number is for Customer service, I believe, and perhaps they can halp you. 800-424-0737.

Good Luck!

Re: EPR settings

I am curious as well. When I got my machine my pressure was at the prescribed 12 CmH2O. The C=Flex or EPR was at 3. My inspiration pressure was the same as my prescribed pressure. My machine is a Respironics and I know that the C-Clex is not a 1 for each 1 cmH20 but I think the basics are the same. ...

Re: Updating the firmware on the PR System One machines

... The only difference I can see is an added option to turn on "Silent Mode", but I don't even know what this does... WHOA! Hold on.. SILENT MODE?!? Could this be Respironics addressing one of the big complaints from its customers? Please check this: Turn silent mode on, and then see if the machin...

Re: Should I buy from DME or CPAP.com?? Please help

Janknitz is correct, at least in my case. The DME is billing total list price but the insurance is only allowing so much. It is not as cheap as CPAP.Com but a lot better than list. That would change your calculations. Also, I like the fact that it is "yours" much quicker if you were to purchase outr...

Re: Leak question

Version 0.8.6 of Sleepyhead allows you to set an intentional leak value so it gets removed from the graph. It can be set in File > Preferences and under the CPAP/Visual tab which should be the default. If you set an intentional leak value then the graphs show just leaks above that value. I believe 2...

Re: When is it time to order a new machine?

Did you see how he tested the pressure? The reason I ask is I have a manometer that measures air pressure, but just not sure where & how the hook it up to test. Do they seal the end? Do they just attach the mask and have a Tee connector coming off that allows air to come out to be measured. Just cu...

Re: shape-shifting alien?

Is your face sweating under the masK? It sounds like either oils or something is interfering with the seal.
Have you tried a mask liner like from PadACheek? http://www.padacheek.com/PAC_Maskliners.html
There will be better suggestions I am sure, but Good Luck!
