Re: Wellvue O2-ring privacy concern
On the day I received my Wellvue O2-ring, 3 months ago, I was concerned about the possibility of personal identification data being sent via the internet to ????? :?: , when plugged into my PC. I sent 3 emails to the makers, the support and the software people asking what was in the unusually large...

Pugsy's (and other people's) salvation
Hi Pugsy. Sorry to start a new topic You advised us "2...Start your own thread about your own specific issues/questions or problems...don't piggy back it onto someones else's thread because it gets confusing when we start offering different ideas to different people in the same thread. Even if you j...

Re: HELP needed for 13-yr CPAP user!
Sorry people for not following protocol. I did not find any posts with my concern so I replied to the thread as it seemed to be recent about the O2ring.
I will post as a new topic.

Re: front to back of skull over scalp strap
"A decision to be made is whether to bring the lower strap forward above or below the ears. One mask I tried (can't remember which now) had plastic straps that directed the stretchy straps over the face. Something like that could be used to avoid contact with the ears." Here's http://www.resmed.com/...

Re: front to back of skull over scalp strap
Interesting.. are you saying you re-shape the headgear to a point at the rear center of the skull? I wonder how that affects the ability to adjust the mask.. probably varies with each individual mask style and head shape? Yes. I have re-worded my original post in an attempt to clarify. I have not h...

front to back of skull over scalp strap
Try saying the Subject three times quickly Has anyone else considered the following? With all masks I've tried, if I turn my head left or right, the mask is pulled sideways by the strapping. All the bony bits of your skull which are above your lower jaw (including your nose) pretty much one fixed pi...

Re: S9 Humidity and Temperature settings independent???
Resmed have just told me that the Auto mode for climate control should maintain humidity output from the hose at 80% regardless of outside humidity. I'm not sure if a comfy temperature goes along with that as I haven't tried it until tonight. You set what you perceive as a comfy temperature. The fi...

Re: pressure storms?
To see the more detailed data you need to get into the Full Sleep Report list. You do that by first getting into the Short Sleep Quality report (where you see Mr. Green Smiley Face or his brother Mr. Red Frowny Face). Then hold both the double check mark button and the info button down simultaneous...

Re: pressure storms?
I expected to get my results on 29th July but it didn't happen until the 11th AUGUST. You were all probably correct. I do not get "centrals" I was getting clustering of leaking corresponding to high pressure when I had the storms. Re-examining my titration report I realised that events are more than...

Re: pressure storms?
Thanks everyone for your knowledgeable input. I have made quantum leaps in understanding. I have been logging the ICON's screen data in a spreadsheet but I only have a week of data, and have been struggling to understand what is going on. e.g. one night I the AHI was 1 (ONE) which I seriously doubt ...

pressure storms?
Apart from minor leaks, it seem that every night I have up to three instances when I am woken by leaks and faffing sounds so strong that they cannot be fixed by tightening the straps. I can feel the pressure in my mouth. The machine is an ICON auto and said to be set to max at 20. I suppose that I c...
