Am I bugging or offending anyone...? Sorry, not intentional

Open letter to everyone, Seems as of late that I've received several PM's or e-mails from individuals within this forum who aren't very happy with the posts I've made. Some have outright called me a few choice names, and seem to think I want to known as some kind of expert or guru, and that I don't ...

Hey there, Woops! Thank you for showing me I wasn't logged in. Didn't realize it wasn't doing it automatically as I thought it was. Thanks for pointing that out. As for my 'thunder,' I just wanted to respond to Gigi because no one else had. My 'thunder,' if I've inadvertantly misrepresented myself, ...

You need a Doctor's Prescription to buy a CPAP. As for the pressures, I think you can just tell cpap.com where you want the upper and lower pressures set. You'll have to check with them. Also, ask on this forum if anyone knows how to set the pressures on your prospective machine. That's how I found ...

Works great for folks who can 'stay' asleep, but as soon as glucose levels return to normal, it's wide-eyed and bushy-tailed again. Some folks do amazing well on camomille tea!

It varies as much as 300%. With insurance, I'm charged $2700. A friend of mine who had no insurance, and whom I met at the sleep lab on the same night, (total coincidence) was charged $1150. There are also machines that can be rented for a month, that will automatically adjust for the pressure you n...

Years? No. If you don't start feeling better in 30 days, check back with your doctor. Continue checking with your doctor till you feel better. Remember also, that apnea is not the only possible problem. Restless leg syndrome, where the legs jerk every few seconds or minutes, will cause arousals same...

Benadryl is a good substitue. However, there is a 'generic' name for it as well, and if you buy it under that name, it's a lot cheaper. That name is dyphenhydramine. Tylenol PM uses it, and so does Unisom. But if you buy it under the Unisom brand name, it's 3-5 times more expensive. Start with 25 mg...

Welcome to the group. We'll get right to it. Day time sleepiness, depression, short-term memory loss, loss of concentration, panic attacks, and the others you mentioned are ALL symptoms of OSA. (Obstructive sleep apnea.) It is quite possible that you've had this since being very young. Realize also ...

My DR said that the CPAP can compensate up to around 30%. I thought that was a litle excessive, but that's what he said.

Hi Joey and welcome. I'd like to hear your conclusion from your experience. PM me if you'd like. You'll also want to make all your posts to the cpaptalk.com forum index. That's two boxes above the introductions box that got you here. The introductions section doesn't get much use. I think it's kinda...
