Re: Pugsy Award
Yep, yep!! I'd of never gotten this far, let alone understood half of what I (somewhat!) know now if it wasn't for Pugsy!! I've also gotten encouragement and advice from others on the forum, it's just I always "ran to" Pugsy on the sidelines!!!

Re: Opinions on gel cushion nasal masks?
Teaster...I'm a little over 6 months in and I started out using the Comfort gel blue...thought it was great as it didn't bother me, other than marks on the face! However, I have since tried the Swift Fx for Her and the Sleepweaver...love them both way more than the prior. The Swift is so non-invasiv...

Re: The Bella Loops. Your Experience??
Just now catching up again...I too am jealous of Pugsy's leak line!! But hope to one day achieve it??? I've left off on the Bella's for now...things are rather harry-cary around here at present and not gettng as much sleep as I'd like...battling a mask is not on my list of to do's. I will get back w...

Re: The Bella Loops. Your Experience??
I didn't vote yet as last night was my first night with my Bella's...and I'm just not sure WHAT I think!! Was home early yesterday afternoon and decided I'd take a nap with the new loops...went on great, didn't take much to get them to fit and seal, could hardly tell they were there and I thought, "...

Re: Sleep Apnea? You make the call!
Robo...this is what I was doing right before deciding I'd better get a sleep study. Mine would wake me up however, feeling like I was suffocating. The electrical "charge" you mentioned was on the same line as mine, although mine was more like an anxiety attack...sort of like the feeling in the gut y...

Re: So comfy, you forget you're wearing it?
I use both the Sleepweaver and Swift Fx for Her...I love both of these masks and can barely tell either one is on unless I have a strange night of extra leaking. I do think as far as comfort, the SW has the Swift beat!!

Re: Allergy to CPAP machine
Yep...seriously pastuerized...none of the other things, so don't know that it's any better or worse than any other bottled water. Just thought I'd try it since there were those who think the steamed distilled, filtered and osmosis might have caused the trouble. No difference for me that I can tell! ...

Re: Allergy to CPAP machine
Wanted to post...I found pastuerized water at Walmart. It was the only one different from the steamed and reversed type of distilled I'd been using. I've used it now for the past 3-4 nights and can't say that I see a difference. I didn't go into a full blown, all day sneeze the other day, so that wa...

Re: NEW SleepWeaver Advance soft nasal mask!
Well, that will be my next order on masks, just wish I didn't have to wait another 3 months! My bella straps are coming this month to try and definitely want to try this N &I version of SW. I love that mask and everything about it, other than the higher leak line. Thanks for the post!!

Re: OT: Moving Parents into New Home
Starlette...so feel for you in these posts! We moved my mom in with us two years ago because of dementia...she fought me all the way at first and that was the hard part. She loved her "farm" and didn't want to leave it, it had belonged to her folks and we moved there when I was 5, so it's "home" to ...

Re: Allergy to CPAP machine
Dhill...it has been the same for me! With the mask on I breathe like a charm, no itchies, no sneezies...but let that mask come off and it's a whole 'nother ballgame! I just finished my second round of antibiotic and I'm still taking the zyrtec and also had a round of steroids in Dec., along with usi...

Thought there might be others interested in this so am passing it along! Some of the questions she will answer will be: #1. What can I do about sk...

Re: What is your machine sitting on?
I have a small table that sits next to the bed...my cpap sets on the bottom shelf and I just run my hose up and under the bed covers. Hang my mask on one of the bed posts at end of morning! I am now using an apap for pressure changes so no room for it on the shelf...it sets on a thick dictionary nex...
