Do you ever get the S10 for Her version, or just the regular S10?

Re: Free Trial for Newbies and Strugglers (Aromatics)
I would have to be one of those who report that I began using PurSleep (Clear) fairly early on, based on recommendations here, actually! It made it easier to fall asleep and not feel I was suffocating (I'm often "stuffed up"). I've tried one or two of the other scents from one of the packs of trial ...

Re: Any recent Colonoscopy participants here?
I'm going to tag onto this thread - I hope that's okay. My doc recommended this for me last year when I hit the big 5-0. Scheduled it, it had to be cancelled because of horrible winter weather, and one-thing-and-another, never got it rescheduled. Anyway... This year's physical comes up and she refer...

Re: Another new invention
The product retails at $120 for a pack of 30 disposable one-night units in America. Dr Doshi reckons that it is a cheaper alternative to the CPAP machine which cost about $1,700 apiece and is difficult to lug around. Frickin' vultures. $120 a MONTH is supposed to be a viable alternative to a machin...

Re: How did you know something was wrong?
I didn't have "day-time" sleepiness so much. I still don't get "enough" sleep (averaging 6 hours, still because of bad 'sleep hygiene'), so having trouble waking up and being grumpy-tired in the morning was normal for me. I've been a night-owl all my life, and mornings have never been my friend. I'v...

Re: Have you ever almost gone psychotic from lack of sleep?
I knew a woman who was bipolar and when she was in her "manic" swing, she couldn't sleep for days. She told me if it went too long, she'd actually have hallucinations. For myself, lack of sleep has increased my migraines and made me grumpy (or even more grumpy, depending on who you ask), but I haven...

Re: Perfect numbers but still tired at lunchtime?
Your sample shows just less than 5 hours of sleep - I'd be tired the next day if that's all I got.

Re: The Bella Loops. Your Experience??
I found them incredibly comfortable, but my leak rate was higher. It wasn't outside of "acceptable" (although higher than a lot of folks on this forum aspire to), but it was higher. But I tend to switch between the Swift FX and Opus360 because one or the other will just suddenly leak like crazy. So ...

Re: S9 Settings
My CPAP script said 11. My APAP was set for 4->11 but I bumped it to 6 recently and I'm ok with that but my AHI is almost always less than 2 and often less than 1 wit a 95% of around 9. The rule of thumb for APAP is 2 cm under CPAP and 3 cm over. 6-11 means you only get up to your therapeutic press...

Re: Use fine filters!
they do a 5 micron and a 10 micron version. 72" by 36". Thats a lot of S9 filters. http://www.amazon.com/Polyester-Filter-Media-Sheet-Micron/dp/B004JHGYUK/ref=pd_sbs_indust_4 Just went to the manufacturer's site and found that they actually do .5, 1.0, 5, 10, 25, 50, and 100 micron versions. Re: New Swift FX Bella Mask.....
I will say I have a little ear soreness, but not much and I prefer it to the headgear!
I also think my leaks are a little higher, but just a little. It's SO comfortable and I'm thrilled with this new option.

Re: Horrible experience
I don't think I would have agreed to a sleep study if I hadn't already suspected sleep apnea - even my share of the cost (for the two nights) was almost $1000. So part of the reason why they don't get a lot of negatives is the cost is prohibitive for "just give it a try, maybe this is it". On the ot...

Re: Zoloft's effect on AHI?
I took Zoloft for a few years, maybe 10 years ago...so my memory might be suspect. But what I remember is the first couple of weeks, I felt absolutely wired - couldn't sit still. I remember feeling like I didn't sleep well in that initial period. But I "mellowed out" after that initial period. I hav...

Re: New Swift FX Bella Mask.....
Fizzy, You might try adding one of those so-called tube-management clips near the end of your mask's air tube. Then you can clip the tube to your collar or top so it doesn't flop around. Like you, I hate the tubes flopping around on any mask I have tried whether in bed or up to the bathroom. Thanks...
