Re: Pressure Pulse Events
In summary, good AHI numbers means you're not being strangled in your sleep. That's a good thing. But you won't ever feel better unless you also get enough uninterrupted REM and deep sleep to allow your mind and body to recharge. You need to figure out what your body is doing while you sleep. But w...

Re: Pressure Pulse Events
I tend to get between 150 - 250 pulses each night (with some outliers), with an AHI that appoximates 3.5. (again, some outliers). I don't yet have enough data points for me to trust any actual analysis, as I've only been using my current machine for a month (got it on 2011-10-12). My AHIs run close...

Re: Full Face Mask recommendations for rounder faces?
You say you love the Hybrid and you show you have the Liberty. Both are full face masks. Are you having issues with either of these masks? If your leaks are under control and the mask is comfortable something else may be wrong. Do you sleep on your side? On your back? Everyone is different and no o...

Pressure Pulse Events
How many pressure pulse events is considered "average" (knowing that everyone is different)? Just curious as I'm running a lot of times in the 200s (one was 776!! So you know why I'm curious!!) and am wondering if that's normal. Last night, however, I was only at 52 but usually around 200 is my norm...

Full Face Mask recommendations for rounder faces?
Can I get some FFM recommendations for people with rounder faces? I'm kind of in an "in-between" size and roundness and I think I'm going to switch my DME because I'm reading my card from my CPAP and some nights I'm having AHIs as high as 22+ and most of my AHIs are close to 10 but they are so stagg...

Re: Greetings fellow sufferers
Nope, just gotta go through at least one night on it The software SleepyHead and the online program onkor can do it daily. And even if you don't check it every day, when you upload the days, you just tell it which days to upload and go from there (at least on the online program, onkor. Sleepyhead so...

Re: I can't fall asleep, nothing works.
If you can read in bed (and you like reading of course) lose yourself in a good book - by the time you're ready to put it down, you and your face should be used to the mask and you can lay down and go to sleep.
Rest well and good luck!!

For you "tweener" mask wearers
Especially if you have a Mirage Liberty. Here's my problem. My face is round - but it's only a weeeeeee tiny bit too large for a small but WAY too small for a medium. I get "squeaks" about in between where the upper and lower straps are which makes it difficult to tape. I've tried creating a homemad...

Re: Greetings fellow sufferers
Actually, if you use the tape you can use it at a diagonal across your lips which will allow you to breathe should you need to but won't keep you from breathing should you need to because what you're needing to do is keeping your lips MOSTLY shut and this works for some people.
YMMV
