Hubby and I went camping for a couple of nights, and I didn't bring my machine. BAD idea. I woke up constantly to the sound of my snoring, and woke up with the WORST headache both mornings. And it wasn't even from the liquid refreshments the night before

Does anyone "flunk" sleep study?

Morning all~My husband was sent for a consultation with the same sleep doc I go to, and was set up for a sleep study. I was wondering if anyone has ever "flunked" a sleep study. I mean, has anyone here ever had a study done and was not prescribed cpap therapy? Just curious....

RG~Why do you use a Radio Shack adapter. Just curious, I have had my heated hose for a couple of months now. It helps, but does not eliminate rainout, but I'll take it. It's worth being able to use the Aura. Thanks!

What Are The Chances?!

I started my cpap therapy May 25,2006. My husband has been so supportive through the whole process. He has also been there for me when I have needed a new mask, had to tape my mouth shut, had zero sleep because of the machine or the mask, or whatever. He has been snoring for a few years, and I final...

I have been a member here for over a year. I celebrated my first year anniversary of being a cpaper on May 25, 2007. I have learned so much from reading posts, asking questions, and drawing my own conclusions from many, many posts. I have backed off from posting on here because of some mean spirited...

Sorry-I should have given more info...The mask and cushion is new (replacement), I have lost about 50 pounds, so I thought the pressure might be too high, so I have been playing with the numbers. I was origionally set for 10. I have found through trial and error that that is really where I need to b...

Spooky Fodder-Sorry to hear you're discouraged. I would check your mask situation and figure out if you are indeed mouthbreathing. The full face mask or taping would both be an option. Also, you need to figure if you have the right machine for your apnea treatment. You might also need to give yourse...
