Have used masks and hose to give away
Haven't been here in a long time because I am having no problems with my CPAP therapy. I am giving away 2 Resmed Climate Line heated hoses. 4 ResMed Mirage Activa Lt medium masks and seals. Let me know if you need one of these items.

AHI ramping on the hour
My AHI index is ramping up to a peak of 2 or so then drops off ON THE HOUR. Forms a very nice saw tooth pattern. This will go on for three or four hours straight. Some thing is wrong here. No other parameter does this.

Re: ResMed tech support no help
Hello I go through the VA. They contract out to a local outfit called Sleep Data. The people there are first class. They are more than willing to help with what ever questions I have and encourage (privately) me to access the data on my machine. I would strongly advise you to go after your VA eligab...

Re: How do I train my self to sleep on back?
Hello all Just wanted to let you know how my back sleeping was going. The tennis ball thing worked great. My shoulder pain is very much better now I have another sleep position to go to. I now have a new set of air leaks to deal with but I think some adjustment on the head gear will take care of it....

Re: Frustrated
Hello I cant tell you just how frustrated I became at times when I first got my machine. One very bad night after dealing with leaking mask and waking up multiple times feeling like I was going to suffocate I threw the machine up agenst the wall. Fortunately Resmed makes rugged equipment and it surv...

Hello all In the search for a mask that is comfortable and does not leak I have tried 4 deferent full faced masks. I just can't get a full face to work so I am using a nasal one. The upshot of this is I have 4 masks sitting around here that have only been used a week max. I am going to keep one in c...

Re: ResScan 3.10 -> 3.11
The release note for 3.11 says there are still some minor problems but gave no indication if what they are.
Hello
These are not problems but what is known in the trade as undocumented features.

Re: taking time to fall asleep
Hello I am on month two now. At the start I had a lot of mask issues. At that time it took an hour from the lights out to I fell asleep. After taking a month and a half to sort those out I took about a half hour before I fell asleep. I am now down to 15 or 20 minuets and getting more comfortable wit...

Hello all First thanks to some one that posted the link to get the Resmed software. Went down to Wallmart and got a $15 card reader and I was up and looking at very impressive graphs. Every thing was very easy to install. Next. I am a mouth leaker. I just could not find a full faced mask that did no...

Re: Pneumonia and cleaning
Hello Sounds like you should really be on top of keeping your equipment critter free. I was told during CPAP orientation not to use any thing on my equipment but soap and watter. Any thing else would harm the rubber and plastic. All of the items on my setup that might harbour harmful organisms are m...

Will medical pay for O2 monitor?
Hello all Has any one out there had any experience getting medical to pay for an O2 monitor? I seems to me that while what ever data you may get from the CPAP machine might be useful it is just a way of making a guess of what your Oxygen level is. I know my O2 level has gone up since starting CPAP t...
