You folks need not get your underwear in a bun over this. It's absolutely nothing to be concerned about. TSA's are fully aware of what these machines are. Some will even pass it through the xray and not even stop it these days. They are more common than you think and are handled as such by most. The...

DON"T buy a Tiara Full Advantage FF mask

First of all they are a complete piece of crap. The strap locks are cheap, flimsy and hard to operate. It is anything BUT comfortable as the seal is not thick enough to provide a decent seal nor comfort when pulled tight enough to seal. It has a poorly designed relief valve that flaps and causes tro...

Indeed it has become easier for me to travel with my APAP machine these days it seems. For the 1st time since I've been traveling with one (since March of this year every other week on airplanes) it passed right through the Delta security checkpoint at BOTH ends of my travel and they didn't even pul...

The Tiara FF Mask was a disaster

I'm sorry to report that my trial of the Tiara Full Advantage FF mask ended early and was a disaster. First I noticed that it was rather cheaply made. The clips were very small and fragile, not to mention hard to work. The seal seemed fine enough, but here came the serious rub.... The silicone valve...

I'm Going to Play Guinea Pig Tomorrow

I couldn't decide on a FF mask so I went ahead and ordered the new Tiara Full Advantage FF mask to try. I ordered a Medium so I sure hope that works. The CPAP.COM fellow I spoke with said if necessary I could possible do a measurement through the plastic before opening it to pre determine possible m...

FF Mask Dilemma

I am about to pull the trigger on either a Han Rudolph 7600 or a ResMed Ultra Mirage full face mask. I've narrowed it to these two as they have the best reputation overall. The Respironics I understand are NOT as nice to the nose bridge (a big issue for me in the past). I have heard the Rudolph has ...

Well, for me the Swift has become the "mask on the side" as most of the time I'm now using my Activa. For some reason more often then not having that general air pressure distributed the way the Activa does it is easier to take then the direct pressure up the sinuses like the Swift. I've had much be...

Not having insurance at the moment I sure would love to see them offer that return insurance for a Hans Rudolph FF mask. Oh well.....time will tell. I'm not prepared to shell out the big bucks for a trial with no hope of return at this time.

While that particular instance was not why I too dropped Apria on their head, I felt that the desire to charge $2300 for a machine I could get from CPAP.COM for $709.00 absolutely unforgivable. I don't give a rats patootie if they are so called entitled to charge whatever they want.....it us usery p...

I had a +M prior to getting the Remstar Auto. On the tabltop they are just different profiles. The Remstar Auto is taller and skinnier. The M is wider and flatter. The funny thing is when traveling with them (as I do every other week) in a bag they are nearly the same. That kind of surprised me as I...

Anyone find the Hans Rudolph to be great?

I'm currently looking at a FF mask. I tried and didn't care for the F&P 431 FlexFit. leaked like a sieve. The main one in consideration has been the Ultra Mirage FF mask. I've noticed however that the Hans Rudolph is a full silicone seal without the typical hard frame. Sounds like it would be not on...

I have no real issues with my Swift. While I tend to use my Activa about 70% of the time, I find the Swift a nice alternate which I switch off to when my sinuses are doing fine. Noise is a non issue for me as I wear ear plugs, so it makes NO difference how noisy a mask is. My wife doesn't notice eit...

For me it is pretty definitive. If I forget to wear my chin strap I drool. When I wear it I don't. I'd guess it has to do with some form of mouth breathing frankly. Just my experiences anyway......before I went on xpap therapy I drooled a lot. Not so much anymore.......

I certainly found one I consider a winner. The ResMed Sullivan chin strap. It is simple and to the point. An easily adjustable SINGLE velcro strap which connects to a nice washable fabric chin cup. Very comfortable and I can crank it down so my jaw doesn't drop on me. It's been the overall best thin...

Well, I guess I have no problem expressing my disgust with some of my fellow mans (and women's) social habits. There are few things that disgust me more than seeing someone's car drive by with what is obviously major handprints and goober all over their windows (probably would find empty coke cans a...
