F&P Icon filters - free
My DME sent me three packages (two filters in each) of F&P Icon filters. They are from AG Industries, part AG503MED. When I called them to correct the order, they told me to "toss" the F&P filters. So, if you need them, PM me and I will send them to you gratis.

Re: One Year Later
If you don't mind: What was your AHI like the first couple of months? How long did it take before you actually felt better? Regarding daytime fatigue (my biggest problem), did it really get so much better? Well, my symptoms were relieved with fairly minimal settings. Unlike some folks here, it does...

One Year Later
Today is my one-year anniversary being on CPAP. So I laughed when I found that my AHI from last night was 0.0. These days it's usually around 0.3-0.5. But the numbers don't matter to me so much as how I feel. Which is great. No more headaches in the morning, no black circles under my eyes, no need f...

Re: I quit
Well, Murph, you've heard some pretty hard truths over the past 4 hours from most of the big guns on the forum--people I respect for the truth they speak. If you quit, you're hosed. Better to be on the end of a hose thats pumping air and keeping you alive. Good luck.

Another new treatment
Saw this on Google newsfeed. Anyone used Provent? It attaches to the nostrils. One inhales normally but upon exhale the vents close which increases pressure which in turn helps prevent the the airway from closing. This report says that users get a 50% reduction in AHI. I don't have any trouble using...

Welcome to the forum. You'll learn a lot here!
You may plug the SD card into any number of computers to be read. The software reads data but does not erase any.

Posts like this topic on this forum are pretty stupid. However, they do serve a purpose as far as I'm concerned. They let me know who the crazy people are and I can foe them and get on with life.

This is awful, SU. This was evidently a massive undertaking--it's like stalking. Really sick.
I hope it was a weird glitch of some sort; but if someone did this intentionally, I hope they are banned and their name published.

Re: Cpap and Naps
I have taken naps w/out my machine in my recliner a couple of times and felt ok afterward. Today I laid down on the bed on the third floor (no xPAP) and thought I'd sleep on my side to mitigate against problems. Didn't work. Stayed on my side, but woke up with heart pounding and foggy head. Still su...

Re: AHI spike with Ultimate Chin Strap
Here is a screenshot of the pressure with the UC and the PC. I have reset the top pressure to 10 -- that night it got to 9.3 twice. http://i1135.photobucket.com/albums/m633/Bodhi0494/BeforePressureAfter_.jpg I think your analysis makes sense regarding chin movement. Something is causing obstructions...

AHI spike with Ultimate Chin Strap
I have an unusual situation that I can't understand. I've been blessed with terrific AHI and minimal leaks until a couple of weeks ago. Then, while the AHI remained in the 0.0 to 0.4 range, the 95% leak rate spiked to the 9 to 16 L/min range, very unusual. My leaks ALWAYS come from between my lips--...
