Re: Adjusting psi on a resmed S9 auto set
Thanks. I want to change it because she set it at 7 & I think it's blowing a tad too much air at times in the middle of the night & giving me dry mouth. My mouth is taped so I know it's not mouth breathing & my old one was set at a min. Psi of 5.

Adjusting psi on a resmed S9 auto set
I got a Resmed S9 auto set a couple weeks ago(my old machine lasted 10 years & was starting to make noises) they set my pressures for me but I'd like to lower my min. psi. Can anyone help me with how to do this or do I have to take it back to my DME supplier?

life span of a machine
I've had my ResMed APAP machine for nine years. I was thinking it may be time to replace it since I have met my out of pocket deductible on my health ins. & it would be covered at 100%. How long has yours lasted?

Re: How Has CPAP Changed You and Your Life?

I had gotten so bad that I could not drive 40 miles in the morning with nodding off.Not a good thing when your driving a gasoline tanker with 11,500 gallons of gas. I stay awake & alert ALL DAY now,my blo...

Full face masks & beards
I'm using nasal pillows now but would like to try a full face mask.Any bearded hoseheads use a full face mask without leak issues? I don't really want to have to shave just to use a full face mask.

Re: pure soap
I use dish soap or liquid hand soap.We never use anti bacterial soap of any kind in our house due to being on a septic tank.(anti bacterial kills the good bacteria needed for the septic system to work properly)

PM-Put on breath rite strip, put on mask, turn on machine, put head on pillow, fall asleep in 20 to 30 seconds.(yes really that fast) One a week I wash my mask & hose & refill hu...
