Re: Losing mask seal around 1:00 a.m.

Facial sweat/oil might be the reason. Try wash your face before sleeping as this will decrease the build up of facial oil.
Also start with washing the mask once a week

Re: CPAP Pad (gel pad)

OutaSync: It depends on the size of mask you are using WITH the gel cushion not the size of mask that you might use later or you are told that you need, also not the size of nose or facial features because as we have said that the most important step is to have an inch of gel inside the mask natural...

Re: CPAP Pad (gel pad)

OutaSync :

I am highly suspicious about the size of your gel cushion!
We have said on our web site that Medium masks require small gel size. May I ask you, what size of CPAP Seal Cushion did you order?

snoozysue: Although 2 months ago we took a permission from CPAP.com (Dan) to announce about our products, yet we are so reluctant to do that for fear of being considered as spammers. So we decided to only answer users questions and sure yours. But posting a picture on this site might be a bid on the...

OutaSync : May I ask you what size of full face masks did you use with the gel cushion?

Thanks

Re: CPAP Pad (gel pad)

OutaSync:

After cutting the nasal cut, you need to squeeze in the upper half of the gel cushion inside the mask before placing it on your face, so you will get 1 inch from both sides "even around the cut" inside the mask.

Thanks

Re: CPAP Pad (gel pad)

OutaSync :

May we suggest to make the nasal cut, as if the gel is lifted on the nasal side, it will have a groove underneath that will lead to leaking
but if you do the nasal cut, the gel will be flat on the face so air will press the gel down, not to go under

Thanks
