Re: Resmed S9 latest firmware 905

Do the upgrades actually represent enhanced programming, bug fixes, or what? IMHO, all of the above. But, since what exactly is changed or added is such a guarded secret, no one knows for sure. I have been told (but have been unable to independently verify this) that the Version 0904 was a major re...

Re: Resmed S9 latest firmware 905

I have a 3 month old S9-VPAP-auto which firmware version is 903, I am trying to upgrade to 905. I ask ResMed support, they're saying I have to get a new machine if you want to get a new firmware version 905. Has anyone has experience of upgrading firmware on a ResMed S9 machine? When I got a new S9...

That, I believe was FFMs only.
That is no longer the case on newer S9s with the latest machine software versions.

Actually, that qualifies as an "air purifier".

That is no longer a problem in more current S9s (Software Version 0903, 0904, & 0905).

Re: Went to pickup my S9 AutoSet, but . . .

If it comes up with a big ResMed logo than you have a newer model which seem to have less problems. Dane My ResMed S9 AutoSet does have the big ResMed logo (in an oval box). It was manufactured 10-18-11 in Australia & has the Software Version SX474-0903. It was sold to my DME provider 12-21-11 (2 m...

Re: Boiling Stuff Part 2

I wonder what boiling would do for my Respironics full face Comfort gel cushions. I'm ready to do a 'shield' or two, but the gel gets sorrier sooner--and I'm not sure. . . If I am not mistaken, the original "gel" type masks were intended to be put in boiling water, cooled some, & then put on your f...

Most DME providers participate in the 30 Day Trial Period for masks until you find one that works.

Re: Where was your S9 born?

I am going to be getting an S9 Auto \Set in just over a wekk. Is there an easy way I can check when they are setting it up to see how many hours there are on it to make sure the DME is not selling me a used one. Check the "Run Hours" in the "Service" screen. Re: Where was your S9 born?

I purchased what I thought was a new machine from my DME. Price was pretty good. Now I find out it is not new but used (400 hrs). I called Resmed and they said based on the serial number that it was probably manufactured late 2010 (November). When did the S9 Autoset come out and has there been any ...

I started out with the Sullivan V (not the Elite) 13 years ago.
As noted in your link, setting the pressure requires the use of a manometer.

Since there is a New Data Card, do I need to make any changes on my ReScan and/or Sleepyhead settings??

Thanks Bob
No, you can still use the existing patient that you set up.
It will just add the new information from the new SD card to that patient.

Re: H5i humidifier cover

If the cover is coming off, you are opening it too far back.
That is the only way to make it come off of the hinges.

I did that a couple of times.
Now, I am more careful & not opening it as forceably.
