Re: Airfit F30
Pugsy, that is really impressive. How quiet is the Bleep?
I think I need to try this mask. If I can make the scunci idea work, this could be a good combination. No mask lines on my poor face!

Re: Airfit F30
Thanks for the help, all!
Zonker, I have one of those headbands around here, I'll try that tonight, thanks!
Pugsy, are you liking the Bleep DreamPort? Does it seal pretty well?

Airfit F30
I have not worn a full face mask before but I am researching them now that I'm having trouble with mouth leaks. I have a small face and I am a side sleeper. Can anyone who uses the F30 tell me if it stays in place and works without leaks when you are side sleeping? Or if anyone has a better recommen...

Re: Air blowing out my mouth
Thanks, Don.Yes, the old body always seems to change again, just when you get used to it the way it is. I have the 3m Micropore paper tape, is that the best? Anyone have another they like better? Is there anything a person can do about swelling in the throat? I've tried antihistamines but they actua...

Air blowing out my mouth
After 11 years on cpap, I am suddenly having a problem with the air blowing out my mouth during the night. My husband used to have this problem, it's never happened to me in the past. It's waking me up all night. The pressure on my machine goes up and it feels like a tornado is blasting into my nose...

Re: Yawning, wanting to take a deep breath
I get a feeling of needing to yawn and of not being able to get enough air when my pressure is too low. It could be just a half a point, but it makes a difference. I'm not sure what machine you have or how it adjusts, with mine I do better turning off the 'ramp' feature that starts with a lower pres...

Cleaning a new mask- is it necessary?
I hope this isn't a dumb question. I don't usually obsess over cleaning and haven't had any problems. Usually when I get a new mask or nasal pillow, I rinse it with hot water but I don't worry about it too much. In these days of Covid-19, do I need to wash a new mask more thoroughly in case it has b...

Re: Dry Eye Problems
I've been looking at the dry eye shop. Was hoping to hear if anyone had used these products and they were working for them? My eye doc is an opthalmologist! I was pretty confounded with his attitude but I took it to mean, eyes as dry as mine and cpap are an unfortunate combination :-( I just wish he...

Re: Dry Eye Problems
Oh, I do have the P10. Sorry, I see I need to update my sig! Okay, done. The P10 is good with directing the exhaust but I still do get some air movement around my face. It's the best fit of nasal pillow I've tried but I still have a slight problem with the seal at times. My right nare has kind of a ...

Re: Dry Eye Problems
Oh, and just to add, I already use a night-time ointment for dry eyes. It helps but doesn't solve the problem.

Dry Eye Problems
Over the years, I have developed severely dry eyes and it's to the point where just the gentle air movement around my cpap mask is really irritating it. My eye doctor did a test where he put strips in my eyes for a certain amount of time to see how dry they are and they were bad. When I told him I u...

Re: Mask indentations in my hair- any way to avoid?
Thanks so much for the suggestions, everyone! Some good ideas to try, here. Does the tappap bother your front teeth after awhile? Does it bother you not having your lips closed all the way? This new Bleep/DreamPort mask is really interesting, seems like a great idea. Do you get any irritation where ...

Re: Has this ever happened to anyone, and what to do if it has
This happened to me one night- I think I actually posted it on here, too. I thought at first my hose had stopped heating but I think it was just that the room had gotten so much colder than usual. I did set my thermostat up a bit and it has never happened again. I used to wash my hose out every coup...
