One solution is to grow your hair long enough to tie into a low pony-tail, then slip the headgear back strap under your pony-tail and it stays in place all night.
Works for me.

Re: Opus 360?
I also have an Opus 360 and have no trouble with leaks - took a little bit of adjusting the straps, but no more than any other mask. It doesn't need to be tight, just enough to hold it in place. I did get an imprint on my cheeks from the foam coated plastic, but I made my own covers out of soft TShi...

Re: Electric Power Discount
Here in Australia I get a discount on electricity - just filled out a form, got my GP to sign it, and I get a rebate of 16c per day, and priority assistance if there are power outages. The discount is available for all sorts of medical equipment, and the amount varies for each type of equipment. I'm...

Re: Smartwater
Re tank water... how long since you've had your's analysed? Interesting question . . . I'm waiting to have our tanks cleaned at the moment, so I'm not using tank water in my humidifier. Our water is filtered before it gets into the tanks, then filtered between the pump and the house pipes, and then...

Re: Smartwater
Hey Bill, just curious, What water do you use?? Sydney water?? I used to live in Sydney, and I think the chlorine smell would be too much for me. Maybe I've been spoilt by living on tank water. I'm heading to Sydney shortly, and was wondering what to do about water for my humidifier - probably just ...

Re: OT Australia facing Cyclone
Thanks everyone. The worst of Cyclone Yasi has hit the coast, but still heading inland. Still very strong winds and too much rain in lots of places. Nearly 200,000 homes without power, too many homes totally destroyed, infrastructure destroyed. Some towns 90% destroyed. http://www.news.com.au/breaki...

OT Australia facing Cyclone
Hi everyone, I know this is completely off topic, but we would like your support and your prayers. Not sure if your news would cover this, but northern Australia is facing a Category 5 Cyclone. Cyclone Yasi is off the north eastern coast of Queensland, due to hit in about 9 hours. (10pm local time) ...

Re: First Nite w/ S9 but Exhale Sound... Normal?
BUT.... On exhalation I hear a..... Wheez, not quite a whine, but maybe a faint whistle. If i exhale slowly it doesn't happen. I wouldn't even be wondering since the unit is so much quieter than what I used previously. But since it's brand new is this normal? Hi Tennguy. Seems your original questio...

Re: How often do you check your efficacy data?
I check the on-screen data every day, and download and usually check the detailed data maybe twice a week. I found it really helpful when dealing with leak issues, checking every day so I knew when they were occuring and for how long - helped me get it sorted. I've just had 12 straight days of zero ...

Re: Another newbie question
My problem seems to be that, when I put a mask on and start the machine, I start breathing as though I’ve just finished some strenuous exercise, but it never seems to slow down to a normal level. This keeps me wide awake. Hi ZeroDigger - how's things going now??? When I first started (3 months ago)...

Re: cpap machine location
I have my machine on the floor under my bed, on an old serving tray, so i can slip it out easily to fill up etc, and the hose goes up behind the back of the bed, over the top to my mask. The hose is held in place (in the centre of where my head goes), with a 3M Command cord bundler/organiser ( http:...

Dear oh dear oh dear . . . . . they're still playing "he said, she said" Did no-one but Kempo read my post. by the way kempo - weather here is improving, still got flooding in Victoria, but slowly improving, and all those 1000's of people in Brisbane whose homes were completely submerged, all banded...

Re: Be careful buying at cpap.com
Some people just can't take yes for an answer. Like a dog with a bone - no-one wants to let go. For goodness sake - lets all grow up, and let 'sleeping' dogs lie. (pun intended) Over here in Oz, if there's a complaint, someone fixes the problem, apologies all round, then we all just get on with life...

Re: trouble with getting mask adjusted - any suggestions?
Hi. It will help us to help you if you can list what machine and mask you're using Just go to User Control Panel (top left of page) then go to Profile, Edit Equipment, and enter what you have (displayed as text) Once that's up, people with the same mask will be able to help you. There's lots of peop...
