Re: Cleaning CPAP Equipment
still i wouldn't use tapwater for anything more than cleaning, the water that we have here is pretty clean but nonetheless i would never use it in a humidifier. there are alot of people on the boards that may have compromised immune systems that may have less than perfect water, and have less than p...

Re: Cleaning CPAP Equipment
i wash my mask maybe once a week or month, i like to use the cpap mask wipes from citrus II, i have been doing this for well over two years and it works great. the tank gets torn down and cleaned maybe once or twice every six months or earlier if we are going on a trip, thank god for distilled water...

Re: Cleaning CPAP Equipment

I remove the nasal pillows things, and rinse them with soft soap and tap water. then I put the system back together, and leave the machi...

Re: Floor or table?
i use an 8 foot hose and attach it to the wall using a couple of velcro elastic bands just like the one i use to help keep my mask as leak free as possible, and since they do stretch there is less chance to actually damage the hose by yanking on it. plus it keeps me from pulling the machine of of th...

Re: CPAP Road Warrior Poll re Water Use
Wow, I'm just not sure this is something that can be generalized. Compare to the above reports that I keep my built-in HH at 1.5 and use only 1/2 cup of water per night at a pressure of 10. lol how much water fits in the m series humidifier? on setting 5 i went through the whole thing in less than ...

Re: CPAP Road Warrior Poll re Water Use
hmm on an average 3 day 2 night trip i use about a half liter of distilled with some to spare, i just reuse a nestle water bottle, that is of course with the humidifier set to 1 or 2. any higher and i would prolly need to take double that just to be on the safe side.

Re: hello again,
lol i was thinking about that with a pressure of 17 or so but this morning when i got up the machine was giving me 19.1, lol. so i dunno if 17 would be a good choice or not as a single pressure.
