Re: Good Mail Order DME?
I recently was dumped by my DME due to Medicare competitive bidding. I went with American Home patient. It was time-consuming to get set up, but they do mail supplies.

Re: Chin strap
MaryGordon, I tried a ResMed chinstrap. It wasn't robust enough to keep my mouth shut, The Ruby Red is stout and does the job.

Re: Chin strap
I have had the problem of mouth breathing for a few years. I used to tape, and it was a pain. I heard about a chinstrap on here and bought it on a whim. It works great! No more dry mouth. I highly recommend it. Ruby Red chinstrap. Available from any cpap supply or Amazon. Around $20. Good luck.

Ruby Red Chin Strap Critique
I have had dry mouth due to recirculation (I use a Swift II with nose pillows) for quite some time. I taped up my mouth for several months. That wore me out, so much trouble, I was sick of it. Even taping up didn't solve the problem all the time. The tape would get wet and come off, just a real pain...

Re: Question about using my new Resmed S9Auto...pulsating
After I settle down and my respiration rate drops fairly low, my S9 starts to pulse until I take the next breath. In my opinion, it is a function of the S9 design.

Need Advice on New DME
My DME was not a successful bidder so I have to find a new source. American Home Patient was recommended. I called and they told me I needed a new Rx, a meeting with sleep doc and copy of sleep study. I did this, took the paperwork to Tulsa office, was told someone would call. A week later, no call....

Re: New Medicare rule for CPAP supplies
My DME was not a sucessful bidder to Medicare. So, to get a new mask or filters, I had to find a new DME if I want Medicare to pay for it. I had to make an appointment with the sleep doc, since it had been over a year since my last appointment, furnish a new prescription and all the other informatio...

Re: OT: Brrrrrr! It's cold, d**n cold!
Weather Conditions: Just got off the phone with a friend who lives in Scotland. She said that it's been snowing since early this morning. The snow is nearly waist high and is still falling. The temperature is dropping far below zero and the north wind is increasing to near gale force. Her husband ha...

Re: Tooth pain and sinuses sensitivity
I have had two sinus infections in the last few months. Both times the pain went into my jaw teeth. I thought there was something wrong, like a crack or something and contemplated root canal but decided to wait a while. I am at the tail end of an infection now. Sure enough, both times, the pain, man...

O.T. SinuPlus Sinus Irrigation System
I use Swift nasal pillows and stay stopped up on one side most of the time. In the last couple of years, I have had a few bouts of sinus infections, to the extent it settled in my teeth. Re: OT: Hotsauce: Abuse or Punishment?
I'll go a step further than BlackSpinner. Anyone that would do this to a child should have the child removed from the home and the person who did this charged and arrested. Anyone that thinks this is not child abuse doesn't need to be caring for children.
