Re: Why do some people hate full face masks?
I have used a Quattro FFM mask for over 10 years. I did try others in the early days but none worked as well for me as the Quattro so I just kept using what worked. A few weeks ago I bought a F&P Evora FFM (available now in Australia) and it is working unbeliveably well. I never thought I would use ...

Re: Resmed Air Sense 10 and AHI
Hi, I have just received my new Airsense 10 Auto after using the same model as a loan machine for one month. The loan machine showed AHI on the screen but my new machine does not show AHI. Is this easy to fix myself as most of Sydney, Australia has just gone into the hardest Covid lockdown we have e...

Re: Loud whirling noise - is my new Dreamstation faulty?
Hi, I posted this in early 2017. It finally took me 4 brand new machines to find one that didn't make noises. That one has been perfect and still works well. After 3 months there was a clicking sound which seemed to be linked to the humidifier so the humidifier was replaced. Philips told me that 1 i...

I have found the pad-a-cheek Anti Leak strap holds everything in place and eliminates leaks.

Re: Water runs out
I never ran out of water with my old Respironics machine, always had plenty left. Fom Day 1 of using the DreamStation I am down to only a few drops of water remaining in the tank each morning. Nothing else changed except the machine. Can't help with a solution - but would like one. Just wanted to co...

I had lots of noises with my Dreamstation and it took 4 new machines to find one that didn't make noises.
Sorry - Don't know how to link but maybe read this as I have written the response from Philips.

Re: Moleskin and Medical Tape Users
I used a gel nose pad for quite a few months when I first started with the Quattro but eventually I no longer needed it as my nose had becomes accustomed to the mask. Now just use a Remzzz liner for comfort.

Re: Large leaks
I have found the Pad-a-Cheek Anti Leak strap very useful with the Quattro mask All I see is a unexplained blob when I looked at them in Pad-a-cheek. How do you use them? Why do the help at 3 a.m.? I have a looped strap between the two cheek straps and under my chin. This helps to keep my mouth shut...

Re: Bathroom visits - pressure changes
Thank you for the suggestions.
I don't use the ramp and my low setting is fine for almost all days except the once or twice a month when I wake and get up.
Just curious how long the pressure would remain constant if I disconnect from the machine.

Bathroom visits - pressure changes
Hi Sometimes (not often) I need to go for a quick bathroom trip at night and I turn the machine (Dreamstation Auto) off. I tend to find that some events occur when I go back to sleep as the machine can't get to the required pressure quickly enough. If I was to leave the machine running would I find ...

Re: Why are there so many bad reviews of the Philips Respironics DreamStation?
I am very happy with my Dreamstation Auto now. I have lost track but I think this is machine number 5 (or maybe 4). Prior to this machine, all the others developed a clicking noise on each inhalation (after a very short time) so I kept sending them back. I rang Respironics (as I was frustrated and I...
