Re: Eye protection with full face mask
Best thing I have found is the Tranquileyes sleep mask - it stops any air getting into my eyes. The foam is very soft and comfortable.

Re: Flimsy velcro
Would it be worth buying your own replacement headgear if the study is going to go on for a while.
Ebay (Aust) has lots of headgear for sale and there are quite few online shops in Aust that sell them too.

Re: Landing the right mask/survey/what's your #?
I bought 10 masks in the first year or so (no "try" system in Australia) and eventually settled on the very first mask I had bought.
Six years on and I am still using the exact same mask although the silicone has been replaced a few times.

I have found the Pad-a-cheek Anti Leak strap makes the Quattro seal extremely well.

Re: Does hotter weather = more water usage
I lowered the humidifier to Level 2 last night and still have half a tank left this morning. Thanks for the advice on humidity levels. The weather if not yet hot enough for air con but I looked up the local weather reports to see how humid it has been over the last few nights - I was hoping for a di...

Does hotter weather = more water usage
Hi, I have had a Dreamstation for almost 4 months and I use more water each night than I did with my previous Respironics machine. Our weather (Australia) is getting quite warm, earlier than usual. All week has been warm but tomorrow will be 30 deg Celsius (86F). All week I have used more water than...

Re: Full face mask
I had the same problem when I first started and used gel pads for a long time.
Now if I ever feel the need I just use a Sensitive BandAid and they work well.

Re: Dreamstation - clicking sound - problem identified & solved
I went to the supplier and they suggested it was a hose problem. They switched hoses but still the clicking noise prevailed.
They swapped the humidifier and the noise stopped.
A new humidifier has been ordered for me - they have not had this happen to anyone else - I am unique!

Re: Dreamstation - clicking sound
Thanks Sleepinvane I have been trying to ignore it but decided to experiment this morning. I took out the filter and it still made the noise. I held the hose near where it connects to the water container very securely and the clicking noise stopped. I will ring supplier on Tuesday (we have public ho...

I have found Tranquileyes to be the only way to ensure no air gets into my eyes.

I have never heard of Sugru (but a quick Google search shows it is available in Australia now) - where should I put it as it seems like it will adhere permanently?
