Re: Hi, It's Dori!

Hi Dori!!! My God its good to hear from you. I just wanted to post here that you were the main reason I became compliant with CPAP after a whole year of swearing it off becuase I just couldnt find a way to tolerate it. You probably dont remember me, I never asked a whole lot of questions and hardly ...

Re: Mask Liner for FitLife Total Face Mask

You could maybe just use the sleeves, then you could still wear it and show off your "guns". That's exactly what I do, and that works fantastically until the sleeve gets all stretched out. I take a brand new shirt and cut off the sleeves, and then I cut a small horizontally oriented oval shaped hol...

Re: FitLife total face mask

I agree with the sheriff on the F10, it's a great mask. My Quattro had a sharp edge where the blue ring snapped in, that heald the cushion. That blue ring also had a sharp edge of its own, too. The cut up the bridge of my nose like an exacto blade. The F10 has no sharp edges or anything under the no...

Re: FitLife total face mask

I have the same, except an S-9 Auto. I find the machine has a hard time pushing the volume of air needed to fill up the expansive area inside the mask and maintain pressures, especially if your having events and the machine is trying to counter them. The two just don't work together very well in my ...

Re: Beard and AirFit F10

I use a Total Face mask, and a Q Full face mask, depending on how the bridge of my nose feels. I also use a cap that my Q mask is velcro'd to at the top of the mask. I always have to re-adjust the straps every night either way. I have a full beard too, and I find if use tee shirt material to make a ...

It was a pleasure to meet zoocrew, a genuinely nice person. Now, I need to get on the forum more often so I can pay it forward. Maybe a chance for me to help someone will come up.

Re: EMERGENCY! In Bremerton, WA & I need a power brick for an S-

Thank you so very much zoo crew!!! You are a life saver, truly. Internet hugs for you! Thanks for welcoming me back, chunky frog. I've been away far too long. Just all kinds of things piling up and demands that just seem to drain the life out of me, so I haven't been on much in a long time. I poke a...

EMERGENCY! In Bremerton, WA & I need a power brick for an S-

I'm on travel here in Bremerton from Temecula CA, (Navy Contractor) and I went to unpack and set up my S-9 Auto only to find I left my power pack and cords at home. Please, if anyone is in the Puget Sound area and would be kind enough to loan or allow me to buy or rent a power pack with the power co...

Re: I have a new bed coming tomorrow, can't wait.

If you can get the matress up there, an adjustable frame shouldnt be any trouble. They are slim and pretty lightweight considering. I have a sleepnumer adjustable bed and its fantastic. Expensive but worth it in my case. Multiple spinal fusions plus a spinal cord stimulator and a peripheral nerve st...

OT: (Sort of) throwing up after waking up without CPAP

Woke up at 2:30ish with slight areophagia, took off mask and went upstairs to the sofa. Fell asleep again without CPAP, but definitely went into rem. Awoke around 5:30 with a snort, and almost immediately began to feel that feeling that your gonna throw up. You know, watery mouth, swallowing, that p...

Re: Can't catch my breath in my new FitLife Total face mask

No ramp, 14.6cm, exhalation valve clear, epr set at 3, mask set at full face. Went to total face because I couldn't get my nose bridge to heal up. The Q was destroying my nose and wouldn't let it heal. May try straight CPAP at my prescribed pressure and see what happens. I sleep on an adjustable bed...

Can't catch my breath in my new FitLife Total face mask

I keep waking up at all hours trying to catch my breath in my new mask. Checked my sleepyhead, only thing showing that I can tell are some leaks, but not real bad ones. I've even bumped up my pressure some. Kind of a scary feeling to wake up not able to catch my breath. This is a new thing I'm havin...

Fit life Total Face Mask

I heard the FedEx truck pull up and knew what was in it. My new extra large Fit Life Total Face mask. I ordered the regular large size based on their sizing chart, tried it for a few nights and it left marks on the sides of my face and it felt like it was crushing my cheeks. The extra large fits per...

Re: Am I missing something, or do I just have a crappy doctor?

This may sound stupid as youve probably already tried it, but skin oil used to make my mask fart in the middle of the night and nothing I could do would get it to seal again. Until I started using alcohol to strip the oil off my face right before I masked up, AND I use a fleece mask liner on top of ...

Re: This Has Gotten Scary

I pre-boarded a plane once on a trip to Japan for work, had my CPAP in the overhead bin across the isle from my seat, when a complete beeeoooch lady walked up, swiped my CPAP out of the bin to make room for her over-sized bag. I saw it falling and caught it one handed with my right hand while I was ...
