Re: New Swift FX Bella Mask.....
I agree, Pusgy. Also, the fact that this post is 16 pages long, in my opinion, is a good thing. I means there are not 18 different posts on this new mask. It's nice that all of the information (or at least most of it so far), is all in one place. If I remember reading something about the Bella, I kn...

Re: So comfy, you forget you're wearing it?
Now I like that idea! I was actually wishing the sleepweaver came in a full face mask!chunkyfrog wrote: Why could I NOT alter a cloth mask?
Maybe I can own the first sleepweaver full face mask.
Hmmm.

Re: New Swift FX Bella Mask.....
Does this come as just the ear pieces to save money? Thanks everyone. If you go back through this thread, there is information on how you can get it (just the ear loops, ear loops and headgear, complete setup). I believe there are also links to places you can get it. Of course, our host site, cpap....

Thankful for Auto!
I just have to say I am SO thankful that I switched over to Auto on my BiPap machine. (And that I have my sleep doc's blessing to do so!) I switched to auto in December, after increasing my IPAP and EPAP a couple times. I had gotten up to 16.5 IPAP and 13.0 EPAP and was still not getting my AHI cons...

Re: Leak Rate with Mirage Quattro?
Thanks for the input! I knew that graph was out there somewhere, but I sure didn't have the brain power this week to figure out where it is. I did model my mask liner very closely to the pad-a-cheek one. I will have to look at the anti-leak strap, too. I'm really hoping to not need this thing much l...

Leak Rate with Mirage Quattro?
I am struggling with a killer cold right now....worst I've had in a year and a half on xpap! I've had to resort to using my Mirage Quattro, which I normally despise. (I LOVE my nasal pillows, but literally cannot breathe with them on.) I finally came up with a mask liner last night (old t shirt) tha...

Re: New Swift FX Bella Mask.....
I wonder if you could try a little bit of moleskin. It has sticky on one side, and soft on the other. You could trim it to size and stick it on. (Moleskin is usually found in the foot care area of stores.) I have moleskin and tried doing it ... it's rather hard... not soft and flexible. Do you have...

Re: New Swift FX Bella Mask.....
I do think ResMed should make the little pink covers to go all the way around the loop on the underside, kind of like a sticky type soft cover on the inside of the loop only. Strap marks a bit much to go to work with. I wonder if you could try a little bit of moleskin. It has sticky on one side, an...

Re: New Swift FX Bella Mask.....
I'm amazed to be reading on this thread that some people can get away with sleeping on their side and/or can have significant head movements at night without encountering really significant leak problems. How do you guys manage to do that? Maybe I'm still to inexperienced (on CPAP for 2 months now)...

That is hilarious!
For those of you not familiar with this type of mask, this is how it SHOULD be worn:
(not sure if that's the exact mask, but pretty close if not)

Re: New Swift FX Bella Mask.....
This seems to be a pattern when a new mask comes out... Some people rave about it, and I get excited, but then within a short time, there's just as many people (if not more) that can't get it to work. I, for one, am not giving up just yet. Yep, my first night was a bust, but I highly doubt my belov...

Okay -- a decent night's sleep and a fresh attitude and perspective. I want/need to do this. Excellent! I love the fresh attitude and perspective. You CAN do this, Maddy! We are all rooting for you! Hang in there, keep asking for help, and know that we are all behind you, cheering you on! Hugs, jbn

Re: New Swift FX Bella Mask.....
So....how did you like the new Swift FX Bella? I'm currently in the market for a new CPAP. Had the Opus but did not like it. Previously had the Swift Mirage. I was fine with that one but thought I might try the Bella. If you read this thread through, you will see what we think of the Swift FX Bella...

Re: New Swift FX Bella Mask.....
It is true, the two straps are identical in that both are notched. However, if you read the enclosed literature, they are very clear to state that when using the nasal pillows to make sure that the ResMed logo/word is at the top of the mask, facing outward. This makes me think that while there is no...
