Re: Mysathenia Gravis and Bipap Machine

Wearing goggles at night has worked for me.
I may need to try it again.
No MG, but diabetes and age has effed me up big time.

Yes, please do narc out the greedy doctor, who is apparently hoping for a big kickback,
regardless of whether or not the patient survives the exam.

Re: ResMed Filter Question

If you still have the old filter, measure it, or trace around it on a piece of paper.
Then you can compare filters to see what will fit.
There is always the possibility the bozos at the DME don't even know what they have.
Would not be the first time.

Re: Okay to use used Bipap machine?

I suspect that most fear mongers (mongrels?) have skin in the game, i.e. sales of new machines.
The greatest danger is in not being treated--period!

Re: Elderly Father COPD and CPAP

I am sorry you are going through this. We naturally want our parents to continue forever; but there is only so much we can do. Let him know you love him, and keep repeating this every day. Only the knowledge that he is loved can motivate him to hang in there. When the struggle becomes too great, the...

It is not YOUR quota, but the forum has no room, the queue being filled and forgotten ages ago.
Load your images onto a free image server, and link to it there.
We all have to do it this way, as there is no budget for clearing out the old pictures.

Re: Weight loss drug trial claiming to reduce Sleep Apnea. Hmmm?

Apnea vs weight loss--isn't this a chicken vs egg debate?
It disturbs me that so many "cpap alternatives" are nothing more than the product of
99% greed vs 1% science.

" . . . The study might be useful to justify additional studies:"

I can also see how these results could be ported directly over to advertising--
As is so often done.
Forget definitive study--just do enough to fool the maggots.

"Don't need auto . . . "
They pulled that crap on me--I really, really NEED APAP!
Eff anybody who says otherwise!
Some folks benefit from single pressure; and only an APAP is capable of BOTH!

I have found that a soft fabric mask liner, like Pad a Cheek, is more effective
and more comfortable.
Paper does nothing for me.

This statement better serves as evidence that cpap settings are customarily WRONG. Many of us have no need for ...
