Re: 3 Years and counting.....

Thanks for the well wishes.... Glad you are all well, too! Pugsy.... My ears were warm on many a day! I have had numerous PM's for the DeVilbiss clinician's manual which I always pop in to reply and give. I presumed someone was referring them to me or they had found very old posts by me. I haven't k...

3 Years and counting.....

Just popping in to mention my 3-year cpap anniversary was this week. I am still using my cpap religiously and have excellent AHI.... last night's was 0.5! I am so much healthier than when I was first diagnosed. I've lost about 40 lbs, my blood work is the best I've had in decades, and my BP was 122/...

Re: Aloha Mask Arrived!

Four nights down, and I do like this mask. Not 100% sure I like it better than my Swift LT for Her, but it is very close! First night I had a few leaks and adjustments, but the AHI was 2.0. Second night was a bit better with AHI of 2.0 again. Third night, I made an adjustment to the bands and loosen...

Aloha Mask Arrived!

After reading so many anecdotal reports from forum members on this mask, I decided to order one. It arrived today, and I just set it up and tried it out for a couple of minutes with my Intellipap. Seems very comfortable and very light weight. So similar to my Swift LT for Her.... but I will be inter...

I watched this documentary yesterday.... really interesting and thought provoking. It is a brand new film, and it is not available in stores or via streaming. I purchased my copy.... well worth it! http://www.perfecthumandiet.com/collections/frontpage

FDA May Allow Drugs Go OTC, but.....

not medical devices, I presume.... http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/201 ... escriptio/ So, you'll be able to buy BP or Diabetic drugs at your local store, but cpap machines will STILL be Rx only. M.A.D.

I also live in FL... I have a battery backup for my machine. Bought it from cpap.com. If you live in an evacuation area and need to leave your home, you may be eligible for a medical care shelter. We have one of those in my part of the county that takes those with special medical needs..... wheelcha...

One of the regular folks on the Wheat Belly Facebook page has mentioned several times that he could never wear jewelry of any kind UNTIL he went LCHF on the Wheat Belly program. Now he is able to wear his wedding ring for the first time in his married life. So.... I guess it works both ways!

Re: Devilbiss Heated Humidifiers - Overheating?

I've been using my DeVilbiss Intellipap Auto since the end of August 2010 without missing a night..... It has performed flawlessly, and I use my humidifier almost every night. Since you have faith in the DME who told you this, I won't try to persuade you otherwise, but remember a business is a busin...

The Vitamin D Council has excellent information and resources: http://www.vitatmindcouncil.org In addition, get your thyroid panel done.... TSH, Free T4, Free T3 and Reverse T3. B 12...

There are a few different models of the S9.... Escape, Elite, Autoset. The best of the lot would be the S9 AutoSet which is what you chose in your profile. Please double check to see what the machine says on top...exactly! Then we can tell you what kind of data is available. Others with your machine...
