Re: Oventus > OSA treatment with a small 3D device
Wonder if it might be useful if you changed the gap in the front so it took a CPAP tube. Might make a good mask!

Re: Nasal congestion at night
Since I had a cold this past winter I noticed that I still get nasal congestion each night, would a menthol additive to the water in the humidifier be helpful? I had a bad cold this winter and I had to use a nasal spray ( Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride .05% ) to breath at night and it seems each night...

Re: OT- What sounds good to eat for Christmas Day lunch?
In addition to turkey and ham, Australian Christmas is often not regarded as complete without a big bowl of fresh whole prawns (shrimp) on the table that everyone peels and eats at the table with a bit of lemon and a sometimes a dunk in cocktail sauce. Preferably the prawns need to be the size of a ...

Re: CPAP Doesn't Work because nose is clogged
Had the same problem before I got my CPAP treatment working effectively. I used anti-histamine and decongestants for a while but then someone taught me this trick to do just before going to sleep. Take a normal breath in Let a little bit of air out Hold your breath Hold until about 5 seconds after y...

Sent you a private message.
While Johnny and Carolyn the hosts of this website probably wouldn't mind as they don't sell machines in Australia, they do ship masks and parts so I don't think its fair to post links to other CPAP websites.

What about putting a small dish of water next to the air inlet? May not do much, but it might be enough to get you through the night?

The other forum would often "apply a coat of paint" when the post became too big. Much easier than scrubbing with bleach.Goofproof wrote:Then scrub the wall with bleach, every hour. Jim

Re: OT: Time out and/or Duke it out thread
Based on what I have seen work very successfully in another forum, can I suggest that rather than "time out" or "duke it out" the space can be referred to as the "Bathroom Wall". The wording at the top of the post at that other forum was along the lines of the following: "With any public place, one ...

Re: mask is moving my teeth
The real question will be how do I keep everything perfect when the braces come off? I love my dreamwear mask and don't want to blame it. I actually think I was tongue thrusting and maybe it wasn't the mask? IDK? But it was cpap related. Maybe from tongue placement to just keep mask and mouth in po...

Re: no mask no xpap slept better feeling better
You have been trying for some months now and have not been happy with the results. If recent experience has demonstrated that you feel much better without XPAP, perhaps discuss with you doctor about whether it is worth continuing to use XPAP at all. As you have said "one size fits nobody", perhaps X...

Re: PR vs ResMed, any observations?
Hi I moved from the PR S1 to the Airsense 10 Autoset for Her about 2 months ago. Happily used my PR S1 for 7 years. There is nothing wrong with my PR S1, I just wanted to get a new machine in case something went wrong and so I could have a back-up. I did look at the Dreamstation (new Respironics) bu...
